VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Perverted Hotel [Day 2 Late Afternoon] [ManicMinxy]

Noticed a lot of reused assets from other games, like backdrops from custom maid 2 and other similar games. Feel thats in rather poor taste, and while i understand its hard to make a game, assets should not be used from things that arn't in the public domain

There's something strange about this family... It's almost like, they're all insane or something. Hmm...

Yeah this game is actually really good. The characters are really fleshed out, the erotic scenes are very well done, the potential for the future of this game is very promising, not to mention how good the existing content already is.

Hottest game I ever played! Poses, renders and text! Damn it's hot!
And without a lot of scenes with actual sex (as in others games).
And that thing with pictures that different a little after every phrase - AWESOME! Game look more live!
I hope ManicMinxy (author) will be keep it update and develop further!

As a fan of well-made motherly figures, I was positively surprised by the design of this one. Probably the best kiss I've ever witnessed in a VN, damn. The other characters are also enjoyable with quite a bit of personality, even if it's all a bit early in development so far. Good stuff.

All the joy of fucking your way through a psych ward one room at a time.

Premise is less-trite than it could have been, authoral voice is useful and well written.
Graphics are unpolished but decent. Characters are handled well for stock Honey Select.
I was not overly bothered by excessive clicking as brought up in other reviews.

The mood it evoked for me was very reminescent of the CLOCKUP stable; they say "Your choices will have consequences" it comes across less eyebrow-waggling "she will bang you down the road" and more "if you don't compliment her dress in chapter 3 expect to have a knife jutting from your chest and your house on fire in chapter 9". I felt more compelled to keep playing to see if the crazies turned out to be actual aliens / demons / sentient fishwomen sent here to steal the bodily fluids of the manfolk than I was for the promise of more fapping material.

The MC's reactions are inconsistent. Super shy one moment and perfectly willing to flop it out the next; the crazy genes hit him, too.

Overreliant on urination scenes that were't in the tags.

Overall 3/5: Sent me whitewater rafting through the Uncanny Valley on an intertube stenciled with DON'T STICK YOUR DICK IN CRAZY.

This game does a lot of things right, for example the many renders for a single scene really instils a bit of life into it, but it also falls short in just about every other way. I'm not saying it's bad and maybe when and if it's finished it will deserve it's rating but right now I don't see it, I mean because of the average rating, the interest towards the game (number of votes) and the version(1.37) I kept thinking maybe it will get better or maybe it's this well regarded because it's close to a finished state and then the game ends and it doesn't get better and there are a quite a few scenes but it's more like it just started. So yeah guys, maybe stop overhyping stuff.

The game is a VN with some choices, You are given points by the choices you make that later give you "rewards".

The game is pretty straightforward with some new mechanics introduced in day 2 which lets you go through areas.

Graphics are honey select which are acceptable, The dev knows how to utilize it well.

What makes this game shine are the characters, Each one of the family got their own vibe and personality which leads to unique and original events which i found really enjoyable.

The main con for 1.37 ver are:
1) That there are only 2 days and only an hour of gameplay to a few hours depending on your reading speed and engrossment in the events.
2) Side characters not flashed out yet, though enjoyable.
3) Personally i don't like the body type of the masseur, smaller body type or bigger boobs please. And the mother should have smaller chest (shoulders depth&width), It is really big for some reason.

I still give it 5 stars because this game is an example of how enjoyable characters that brims with personality can be, And for original events.

To sum up:

Pros: sexy, fun, tension, original (family corrupts you), nice models, nice backgrounds, decent story, good overall design.
Nice swimsuit design.

Cons: mother's body and face are weird, not meeting any NPCs is weird, being the only male is weird, Everything in the graphics is in focus, there are no shadows and models look as if they are floating. Far too many single lines of text which take tripple amount of clicking for the next line. Girly looking MC body (in his room). Hostess outfit is also weird.

Although the cons above look much more than the pros, the game is quite good.

character: good lord they are good.

story: amazing.

gamplay: click adventure (meh +1).

scenes (erotic ones): freaking hot.

draws (cg): just amazing.

conclusion: this game is just amazing. i mean, in mostly of game the female characters are just "sex scenes waiting to happen" with no deference between each one. on this game you can tell apart all the characters. thats mean a lot in a game. the story got though and effort, is not just a flacid reason to sexy things to happen. there is a travel there, a route, a way to go , and oh boy you wanna know what things are you gonna find in that way. (the last sentence is bring it to you by uganda knuckles)

this game TOTALLY deserver your time and money.

This is a game i'm really enjoying and is a well done game so far and worth a try my only issue is not a fan of the art style besides that it is a good game. Please note it is my personal taste and nothing against the creator or people who like that style again the game is still great!

as far as incest games with 3d models this one has a rare plot (the family is corrupting you not vice versa) sexy 3d models (except maybe the mom but I'll give it a pass) and has a LOT of promise for content.

This is a one of the best POV Ren'py games I have seen. There are quite a few that pull it off nicely, but this Developer nailed it. The camera work in the renders is top notch, several times I almost felt like I was the MC in the game watching everything happen to me. I can't wait to see the next update.

I have to admit, I went into this a little bit Bored

The models weren't 'on spec', but the humour grabbed me. Not long after I was at the end of the current version...

And I wanted more. So that's a 5/5 for me...

Almost gave it a slip since the images are done in an Illusion game (not a big fan). But the dev has done such a good job on the facial expressions, it baffles me. The images and scenes don't seem static at all compared to most other releases. God I'm glad I decided to try it out, hands down one of the top 3 of its genre.

All in all: JUST GIVE IT A TRY, YOU'LL LOVE IT

v1.3.. added something similar to a map, so we have some freedom of choices. Add to that super duper erotic situations which are shown in details no less superb than real porn, at the same time it shows much more than porn. Which mostly revolves around simple sex, here we have many kinky situations without sex. Author of this game is simply erotic artician.. I cannot think of any other game with so erotic scenes. Yes, characters are prone to be fast in aproaching our MC, but for that we have erotic games! Those revolving around plot are plenty, but those with so much eroticism.. hard to find.

Illusion models at the apex of perfection, only our male character look like little girl with big dick. Personally I find it amusing, couse most of the time we cannot see him. At most his body or reflection of it.

v1.0 A game which does not try to excessivly prolong the story to show how perverted the family and people around it are. Art of characters is really good, I like especially the Mother. She looks like Yen from the witcher. Plot wise it is poor example couse it has almost no deeper parts. So far we have some choices but most of the time we, as a character go with the flow of events. Some are good, and some were bad. All ended in pleasant surprises.

Of course the characters have diffrences in personality, and mimic of their faces. There is no character which I do not like, all of them are pleasant to the eye. Background looks most of the time like garbage, but it is not what we focus our eyes on. It would just be a pleasant surprise if some renders were with better background. Animations, action, kinky situations. Have given 2 faps for one play. So it is quite good score for a game which just started

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.45...


This visual novel/game is really more about Family Sexual psycho perversion than any thing else...

The visuals of the characters are not bad, although the resolution of their clothes looks better then the resolution of their skin... You can definitely tell they are Hentai inspired by how they pose, with peace symbols all the time, while winking, while sticking their tongues out... That is such an over used pose in Hentai, so of course it's used in this VN/Game as well... I personally think it looks juvenile, but some folks probably love it... The backdrops mostly look unique, although sometimes a bit too clean and organized...

The script is pretty good, as I hardly ran into any spelling/grammar errors... The plot starts off innocent enough, with a male protagonist visiting his mother and 3 sisters who he's never met, since he was given up for adoption at a very young age... Right off the bat you start getting teased by a girl dressed all kinky in unrealistic clothing... The protagonist then meets the family, with the mother seeming to be very loving, and very tall, but the sisters, they are like half size of their mother, which was a bit odd... And it's when they all go to the mall, is when everything goes bonker, with the sisters...

The youngest, even though she's supposedly an adult, acts like a pre-teen, and you learn when she drags the protagonist into the bathroom under false pretenses, is a virgin psycho sex deviant... And what bothered me the most is how you don't get a huge amount of choice in how it all goes down... Same with the twins, but I'll get to them in a second... The whole scene with the younger sister plays out and the protagonist pretty much plays along with her bizarre erotic requests... To include photos of her with his Johnson...

Then he goes to see the twins, who are trying on bikinis... Where you find out that Brooke is a domineering sexual deviant psycho as well, as she just loves to tease and acts like a complete jerk (i'ld use another word, but I like to refrain from that kind of language in these reviews) to the protagonist, and seems to love embarrassing her twin sister... And it's not like she's trying to seduce the protagonist, she just seems to be a huge pervert that happens to be neurotic and insane...

What I found most disturbing in this VN/Game is how you really don't have many choices to avoid doing what she (Brooke) wants, or avoid playing along with her sexual deviancy... I tried all sorts of combos to see if I could get the protagonist to avoid her demands, avoid liking her sexual promiscuity, and/or stop her childish teasing of her sister... It started to tick me off, that I couldn't stop it or avoid it... I hate that kind of personality in these types of games, with one of the sisters always being such a jerk to everyone... What is up with so many VN/Games using that personality, it's not that prevalent in real life, why the hell should it be so prevalent in these types of games...

In any case, the only character I mostly liked was Hailey, even though I did wonder if she and her twin sister were lesbian lovers, with how they French kissed at one point... She was probably the most mature of all of them, but even she had her faults... She pretty much let her twin sister be a bad influence sometimes, and put up with all her crap... Even though she appeared to be the nicest personality out of all of the characters (and I only say that because you don't get to know the mom all that much yet, in this content), she does allow her sister to con her into doing some bad things... Will she be that likeable in future content, I have no clue, but she was the only saving grace in this whole VN/game's current content, at least for me...

I have no clue if the mother is as psycho as the rest of the family, but I'm gonna probably go with a yes, based off the title, and how most of her daughters act...

This game seems to love doing the whole body panning up and down thing, with every character that is wearing any sort of sexy clothing... Thank goodness you can skip through it though...

Now, there is a bit of a mystery, that you find out from Hailey concerning the protagonist's history, as well as actual age compared to his sisters, but it didn't go into a whole lot of detail...

Overall, I really wanted to like this one, knowing full well it was probably going to go with the over used Family Sex stuff, but I did not expect Psycho sexual personalities... Perverted does not mean psycho, but in this VN/Game it does... It's not a huge disappointment of a VN/game, but some of the choices you make, even avoidance choices, don't seem to really matter sometimes in this one, as the main portion of each scene is gonna play out if you like it or not... And they just get right to it as well, hardly any lead in, or relationship building, just straight into the perverted psycho stuff...

I suspect that this VN/Game is really more or less focused in on the Erotic stuff more then the actual main plot/story... It starts you off thinking there will be a deep and meaningful story, to discover the protagonists origins and maybe have a real family again, but that plot line doesn't get a whole lot of attention... Now, it is still in development, so there should be more content on it's way... But I don't like feeling any sort of anger when I play/read these types of VN/games, so I'm not sure if I'll give it a go again or not... Only time will tell...

Really good quality, the engine "honey select" is a really good choice simply for the reason of being able to have unique characters so you dont see the same faces/bodies like in most of the other games.
Then the array of cloth options are almost endless simply because of the amount of mods.
This "dev" has taken his time to make faces that feel unique, there are different sizes and styles so the body type is not overused.
This is also one of the few games that dont have broken English, something very refreshing.
With the fluent English the story feels more "real" and so does the characters, they actually sound like real humans when "they speak".

Oh, did I mention its free? I myself is currently supporting the developer.

So good I started chipping in on Patreon. I had a good time going through the game. The designs are very good, the drawings change are fast and smooth, and you get good content from the get go. Also, the faces are different and they're all adorable.
