Hi, thanks for the constructive feedback.

Honestly, I had some doubts when adding this lock feature, but after a lot of thought, I went for it - let me try to explain my reasoning.

When I looked at the Patreon tiers, I wanted to offer something extra to followers for their contribution. So, I decided to include an additional chapter exclusively for Patreon, beyond early access and the polls you mentioned, while keeping the main game fully accessible without any Patreon requirement!

But maybe I should’ve thought of something that wouldn’t come across as restrictive or forced? Do you think a separate Patreon version with expanded content (unmentioned in the main release) might be a better approach?

This is actually my first game available to the public and on Patreon, so feedback like yours really helps!

Thanks again, and I’d be glad to keep the discussion going!

As far as my knowledge goes, studies always showed that pirating content never hindered any sales. Nor is it proven that pirating would promote something either, don't get me wrong. But since the relationship between pirating and sales is not relevent to consider, i don't see why you find it relevent to waste anything over it.

I mean, yeah that's not so hard to lock some content behind a code, but i think it goes to the extent of thinking you should as you say "offer something extra for your higher tier(patrons)". Well, i can only talk for myself, but i would rather have more of the thing am actualy paying for than something on the side.
And well, in your case, despite what you say, it appears as main content anyway.

I don't mind a bit of incentive to pay, its only that putting that kind of restrain so early in development before even proving yourself trustworthy neither as a story writter nor as a steady delivering dev, that's a bit harsh. And i think it does the very opposite of what you're trying to achieve there.

Also, the amount people are paying for your game isn't even corelated to the investment these people actually feel for your game. Depending on contry, age, job, well, the price is actualy different for every one. But if you want your patreon tier to be corelated to the actual interest people have in your game, offer more influence over the game to them the more they are paying. Like as you said participating in polls, have their own previews, being beta readers, beta testers.

In the end, there's no path to follow, so it's okay to experiment. Just don't forget that like it or not, pirating will always be the main access to your game, so don't be a party boomer, or you'll just be put aside :sneaky:

And i'd like to say i liked your game but here is the thing, there's not enough yet to be worthy of note. UI and features seems like work in progress, there's not much happening in the story yet. Even the IA renders, i mean, mother daughter and friend look too much alike. And you could work the staging a bit more. You have to proove us your game is worth the money man :ROFLMAO:

Well keep up the good work, i'll be checking it out anyways(y)

Hey Pagoramix, I was a bit intimidated when I saw the length of your message - my first thought was, "Did I mess up that badly?" ;)

I read through everything carefully, and you gave me a lot to think about - thanks for that! And the last part of your message, with the specific points, is basically my worst nightmare. Just so you know, I literally have to force myself to stop tweaking the art and story endlessly just to release it within some reasonable timeframe. After your feedback, though, I’ll definitely be spending even more time on those details. o_Oo_Oo_O

In any case, thanks for the guidance and the kind words! It means a lot, and I’ll do my best not to disappoint in the future!

Thanks, I’m glad you think it looks cool! And about netorase - what exactly would you like to see? If you’ve got a moment, feel free to share some quick thoughts (no pressure, just in general).
You can drop them here or send me a DM! I’d love to hear your ideas, but if you’d rather not, that’s totally fine too ;)
I feel like some games just go fully in cheating which can be a bit off putting. Would be nice to see the mc+gf talking about it and it being a kink for both of them, not just her getting taken away and him getting nothing out of it.

My original idea for the lawyer character was to make him a sort of stalker, using bribed valets, waiters, and security guards to keep an eye on the characters and act as the "eyes for the main character" Remember Chuck Palahniuk’s Fight Club? "We are the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. We’re the guys who clean your toilets. We’re the guys who protect your sleep. We’re the guys who watch your tables. You don’t see us, but we’re everywhere."

And I want to make it so the main character can influence how the wife acts through non-linear story choices!

anyone knows how to get this i tried all i could but to no avail ...is it even implemented

Too slooooooooooow.
Hey! That’s a big mistake on my part! I’ve been working on improving it for two days now!

I also put together a roadmap for the project’s development, and this issue is definitely on it among other things

RoadMap

I decided it would be a good idea to create a roadmap so everyone can know what to expect from the game in the near future!

0. Story continuation!!! (Night, coffee, desk lamp, and typewriter - I’m in the zone!)
1. Instant message appearance with the space bar (Why so slow?)
2. Character name customization (I am NOT Mr. Player!) :)
3. Sounds and ambient music (Let’s hope my music taste doesn’t drive you crazy) :)
4. Android version (A phone simulator that’s not on a phone yet!) :)

Please, tell me how to make the game even better!!!

Hey, thanks for the report! I sent you a message about this - if you have a minute, please reply. It’ll really help me fix this issue!
I don’t know why, but I can’t send the screenshot (I even tried it as an archive). Well, to describe it, at a ratio of 16:9 (1366×768), I don’t normally see the bottom where the message buttons are. And if 1 message is long, then I simply cannot click on 2. I have to move the taskbar to another place.

This is my first comment and firstly I would like to say I really like the idea for this game. I do have some insight of my own.

1. Instead of locking progress your patreons can get "special renders, in-game special render wallpapers, voting right, maybe some good ideas could be implemented, mention of contributors in game app,..."
2. Speed of game (I think idea to use spacebar is good (y))
3. AI characters looks too alike
4. Offer player choices/responses
5. Depending on player choices, there could be more possibilities (NTR type A, NTR type B, NTR type C)
6. Messages should play forward even when switching to another person

I have some more ideas if you are interested ;)

Hey, PSY! I'm beyond thrilled that you enjoyed my game - it's so valuable to hear that!

And congrats on your first post! I’m sure it was a bit nerve-wracking, but trust me, you did a great job with it!

Your first five points are spot-on, and you’re not the first to mention them, which just reinforces my focus on those areas. As for point 6, you’re the first to bring it up, so thanks for giving me something new to think about! It’s super helpful when people point out details like that - thank you!

I’d be more than happy to hear any other ideas you have if you’d like to share.
Thanks for helping me make the game even better!

Hey again!

Thanks for the details! I think I’ve figured out the issue and have already added a 360x640 screen resolution. It’ll be available in the next game build coming out this week!

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks again for your help!

Pay-walled content... Pass! Shift+ Delete.
Can't believe people still do that... And then wonder why their game doesn't get off the ground.
I'd rather support someone who does something for the joy of it then someone who hides behind a paywall.

Arts are awesome and story seem promising! Thanks a lot for the share, looking forward for android version!
Thanks for the great feedback! Today, I’m planning to start testing the Android version!
I still need to adapt the interface for touch controls and make sure it doesn’t misalign on different screen resolutions.

(It’ll already include the story continuation, fast-forwarding, and other improvements!)

I’d be more than happy to hear any other ideas you have if you’d like to share.
I tried to send you DM with ideas but i keep getting error message.

I will look through the forum, to see if there is any restriction to send private messages and get back to you.
