I think the wife is the protagonist of her own game and is solving the mystery of how her husband was framed and the game is leading us to make out-of-context judgments about her.

I must say the story and writing of this dev is really great and refreshing different to all the other mobile phone games. Just hope he dont involve MC's Mom in any future updates because this game does not have an option to skip fast forward currently...
It would be interesting if it is feasible to create animated gifs with this AI CG's already on a easy way because some animated scenes would be nice. But so far its a great story

A really good game and nice graphics! I like the idea of the prison.
Maybe the game is a bit long-winded in places and could do with one or two more pictures.
However... the story with Emma and Bella... a universe of possibilities and......... an eco-demo and the wooden paddles? Really? Well, let's see where that leads.
If the developers read this... in most games the MC is a brainless cuckold... not necessarily here. Please, please, please... leave it that way too!!!
Oh yeah... and the game could use a pause button.

Actually, there are exactly two places that come to mind...
When the demo is mentioned... The description of the planning, participants, buildings and Jesse on the boat.
Both storylines would be much more relaxed with 2 or 3 more pictures.
But that's not meant to be a criticism, just a thought!!!

I think we are waiting for an update, plus a little disappointed at the lack of photos of the incredibly hot wife in her goings on !
Dev is also MIA on patreon. Sent them a DM and got no reply. Dev is clearly struggling with planning their story out far enough in advance to keep updates rolling out smoothly. Hopefully this prolonged silence is a sign they're taking their time getting all of their ducks in a row.

'MIA' in the world of game/VN development is more likely a sign they are done and have moved on. I hope this is not the case, although if I were a betting man, I would say we won't see anything from this dev before the proverbial Hell freezing over.
This game is great! I'm hoping it's not dead. I'm sure it's annoying being a dev, getting asked all the time for update status. I guess that kind of comes with the patreon territory.

The game is just incredibly very cool, the script is just a masterpiece, but...!
I would like much more details in the form of images, and not just a description, I would like more content and for the main character to learn more about the details of what is happening to his wife.
The English language in the game is very lame.
and it would be a huge plus to add the ability to save the process in the game, so as not to start all over again, or to add hints in the form of a built-in walkthrough, so that you understand what content you will see and what ending you are heading to.

I still stick by my hope that we'll eventually get access to the wife or stepdaughter's phone. Maybe a cellmate could hook the player up with a techie friend, in exchange for phone privileges from time to time. No blackmail plot (it's been done to death), just a simple tit-for-tat exchange.
Also, since the dev is clearly struggling with getting the story down. Help them out by theorizing and spitballing ideas. Even if the dev doesn't use them, it could be enouhg to get creative juices flowing and get a new update!

Soooo...over a week since you last "spoke" to them? Seems legit.
I am speculating an outcome based on previous patterns of behavior and the sudden change in process by the developer. The fact that you are asking if they are still alive just adds weight to my speculation.
As I said, I hope I am wrong and the dev does indeed continue with this project...all evidence to the contrary.
Oh, and if I am wrong then...well, I am wrong. Just not going to hang my hat on this dev being all that different than the others. If I am proven wrong then you and everyone else can thumb your nose at me and say "I told you so".
