So, because of the scoundrel who leaked my game here, it is now in the public domain. There is no worse demotivation for me. Good luck to you all.

And I am demotivated by the fact that I had a higher opinion of the players. Until the very end I hoped that people would be patient and wait until I released version 0.6 with all the bug fixes and new technical features.

Ok I have done three quick run throus now, each one maxing one stat, trying to see if it branches off a lot. So far the story seems quite fixed and i LOVE that. The reason for that is, that games that try to simulate a completey free life hardly ever get somewhere. Lets say you have only two paths in the beginning and each update offers only one meaningfull choice, after four updates you allready follow 16 stories. That is impossible! Many games I realy like suffer from it because the update cycle for one specific path is meassured in years!

For non-sandbox games i like the "slight changes to the same story" approach. Stick with that. Be one of the Devs that actually finish a game. And afterwards make the next one and fullfill the hopes of the other guys.

And dont forget to work in a way that allows you to enjoy this, enjoyment allways improves the quality of the outcome in creative works.

I think that with version 0.8 I will start releasing updates on specific branches, NTR NTS and love, to cover them more deeply.It's just that as the 0.6 release showed, people aren't willing to receive little content for their particular branch. It would be better to release a 100% update for NTR and 0% for NTS and love. And the next addition 100% for NTS and 0 for NTR and love. And so on.

Id like to know if there are branches that happen without me knowing. Like there is one (big) choice that demands 70 Freedom stat. That one is clearly visible. But are there changes that I cant see in any choice? There is one "thought" that reads "I should have had a talk about open relationship earlier" so I tried my best to trigger that talk but whatever I do it allways comes to a half conversation at that point where I *think* that talk could take place. They start to talk about it but it ends with "I need to think about my feelings" or something. So I ask myself If I missed a hidden trigger.

Hello! There are several checks in the game for the number of freedom points, mostly you see them in the game, but there are some that are Lisa's reaction to your choice. So if you chose the option that Lisa would not communicate with Sofia. Then depending on the number of freedom points, her reaction will be differentBut there hasn’t been a dialogue about open relationships yet, everything is ahead.

My friend, no one is going to wait a month for you to fix simple bugs in a five-minute update. There’s hardly any content, so what bugs could there even be? Fixing them shouldn’t take more than a day. You’ve had plenty of time for this.

This is a pirate forum and your update will eventually be leaked, you should already know that. You're not the only dev this is happening to. Every game gets leaked. There isn’t a single one that hasn’t. And trust me, yours was leaked very, very late than average. I think like 11-12 days after the patreon release.

So instead of playing the victim or making excuses, it would be much better for you if you just did your job properly and on time. If you do that, support will come. Whether your game is leaked or not. I hope you consider this.

I am a human being and I am not perfect, as my game has many shortcomings, there is always room to grow, through criticism I will become better. The main thing is that the criticism should be structured and justified.

Quite a pointless comment in this case. This last update was pretty awful. I'm glad I didn't pay for it. Sometimes these criticsms are necessary for the developers to realize they've done a bad job and improve it. Like a slap in the face. It wakes them up. So yeah, even though v0.5 was very good, this one was terrible.

And as for your last point, it's usually the other way around, people tend to leak updates when they feel they're not getting their money's worth. It's like "if you don't respect the money I pay you and my support, and release an update like this, I don't respect you too".

I support your project on Patreon and saw your rules regarding release availability per tier and it's excellent in my opinion no need for piracy. Non-supporters will just have to wait a bit longer.

Regarding criticism, I first want to say what you’ve written prior to this update has been good. It’s a porn game, I’m not expecting a novel but compared to 96% of other games, the writing here far better.

Now, I personally couldn’t even finish this update. The blackmail trope in my own opinion is so over used and frankly (again imo) lazy writing. Karl kinda was sleazy prior to this update, but this took it from a 2 and made it an 11. Not to mention it took all the build up and just threw it out the window. It also made us the players who (most) of us see as ourselves made the MC feel stupid because the MC did something so dumb that it broke our suspension of disbelief, which effectively killed the mood. My suggestion is to spend the next update rewriting this one and go from there. I know some people here are telling you to pretty much double down and ignore the “backlash”. Don’t do that, I’ve seen too many games die that I used to like from creators refusing to take a single update to fix their work.

It is not hypocritical to use the forum - it would be hypocritical to criticize the work of a game I wouldn't support. No, I don't criticize games on F95 unless this is their only platform. Why would a developer care about the opinions of pirates who do not support the game? Anyone can say shit about anything, ultimately you'd want to hear the voices of the people who are actually invested in the game. A developer creates a game based on their own vision, if you like it, you can support it and have a say in where the direction might go. Usually by means of a poll/vote. If not, you'll just have to deal with it or realize it's not your kind of game.

Non-supporter critics should be heard maybe, but heeded? No.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you there. Everyone has the right to criticize the game regardless of it's a paid supporter or not in the end of the day everyone that has the time to download, play it and comment in the game page are all fans of the game and want to see it have success. Everyone has their own reasons to why they do not support the game on patreon, in my case for example is because I don't trust game devs on this website. Yeah Taptus has been doing a good job so far and I've been happy with the updates until this one but still I've seen times and times again where a dev is super responsive and makes good updates only for it to go downhill months later and the game goes abandoned because of reasons that only those devs know and then all the money that the supposed "true fans" gave goes to waste.

Hello, maybe I didn't understand you correctly, but you know that the game has the ability to play without blackmail? That is, you can literally stop Lisa from drinking at the bar and you will have a regular game branch. The blackmail line is variable and if you don't want it to be in your game, it won't be, this is just one of the opportunities to make me, for people who like it, part of the content in the bush. Just like I will continue to make content for the line without blackmailing Karl.
