I hear you man and I get your point but once again, the storylines aren't set in stones yet and are faaaaar from over. I'm quite sure by the time the game will be a 1.0, a lot of contents will be added with more fleshed out routes, including a romance one for Rachel like you suggested.

But unfortunately for you, the RM is and will remain in the story, as its role is important now and will probably be even bigger down the line. however, that doesn't mean the approaches the MC could choose will remain eternally dickish or massive dick as they are now imo.

Last played it on 0.8.1 something, was gonna give it a try.Just wanted to check change log quickly so, went to last comments to see peoples reaction.
This game has r**e now? Am I missing something? What? Why? What happened in recent updates?
I'm not a patron so I avoid overly criticizing any dev as I have no right to demand anything.
I believe it's dev story to tell and all we can do is suck it up. If you like it continue playing, support it and if you don't agree with dev's vision stop.
If enough people stop there will be change(It's money game at the end of day)if not, it's clear you are in minority of opinion.
Personally I haven't don't understand people who have fetish for NTR or rape content(And I don't want to understand it) and if dev wants to include this genre to game he has all right too.

Her content could easily be removed. MC goes to RM and asks for Rachel and is told that she does not work there. Later when MC asks about her job she says she does not have one. She was going to work at RM but she decided not to when she found out what the job actually was. The variables would just have to be set to allow Rachel's story to continue without the RM content and RM would still be in the game. MC could initially go there for the hostess that greets him; and if the player wants other characters to end up there, then that would be the player's choice. I'm not saying that the content needs to be removed for everyone, just make it optional. Why make this one thing unavoidable, when almost everything else is?

Yes and no. In hindsight, sure, could have been done the start. Then again, given what the Dev wants in terms of story telling and path finding, it's up to them. Again, I keep fucking saying this. If the Dev wants it in, they want it in for a reason. And if they want to change it, whether people cry about wanting it changed or not, is entirely up to them. They don't have to do what you say or suggest. It's literally THEIR game. Some fans may like/love that part of the story for any multitude of reasons (Me I am neutral on it) while others like yourself don't like. And again, it's a fairly early build. Anything can change. As for your second comment, what I mean by the content not being removable is (and it's pure speculation), what if the RN has a massive impact on the storyline down the line ? Being tied to the main villain (being the owner or smth), and to expose him you need to access the RM ? I know you could say that you could enter only once and that you don't need anyone else involved (Rachel in this case). But what if you have the choice to turn into the bad guy, and succumb to your lust, prioritising being a massive dick to her instead of resolving the problem at hand ? Or maybe Rachel could be a bargaining chip the bad guy could use to force you to do X or Y favours to him or else he would hurt her ? (A bit like Jen and the library with a more dark undertone)

Once again, it's pure speculation, but I can understand why Mooch1e would rather flesh out Rachel and RM as one entity, rather than take one out, risking hurting the storyline and dynamic in the process

It's not that there is a very forceful sex scene with Rachel if you choose the corruption path (as that is avoidable if you go the Love route). Your problem with the story is that even on the Romance route you still have to do some interactions with Rachel at the Red Maiden during the beginning of her route. Correct?

If so, why is that? Is it because she is doing stuff with a stranger (which is the MC in disguise), or because you think she'll be traumatized by what happens regardless, or some other reason?

Leave RM in the game for the additional content to come. I am basing my opinion that the plan right now is not to make the content avoidable on the post by the writer giving possible future justifications for Rachel working at RM. He made no mention on the possibility of her never working there.
