If possible (and assuming I didn't just miss it somehow) can a text skip function be added? I remember a few times getting game overs and it had been a while since I saved, with the slower text it took a while to click through everything as opposed to holding down shift or ctrl or something.

The fact is that I have already tried to do what you are asking and it does not work well for our project. I'll try to explain. Rewinding text speeds up the game. Unfortunately, sounds and especially sprite animations cannot keep up with this process and the result is lag and out of sync. However, perhaps there is a solution and I will talk to our programmer about this, because personally I think such a function is fair. If we find a solution, it will definitely appear in the game, but if not... Or you can help us yourself, for example, find a plugin, code or advice. In any case, version 0.5.0 is already ready and will not change; everything we are talking about applies to versions 0.6.0 and higher.

No, saves will be compatible with future versions starting from version 0.5.0. This time you will have to play through the game again and save your progress. Then you can use your saves in version 0.6.0, etc. Almost all the mechanics of the game have been changed, new things, images/sprites have been added, the plot has been expanded and rethought in some places, etc. This was not the case in previous versions. I will say again: this release (v0.5.0) is the correct “Pies 'n' Apples”, the way it should be. Everything works and content has been added/improved, etc. Previously, we did not have the opportunity to add all the mechanics so that the plot could continue correctly; in fact, all previous versions are little more than a demo. But the new version is a real game that players will be able to continue with new versions.

Damn this game is Hidden Gem !!! just Finished playing 0.4.0 AND I GOTTA say the Quality of the game is really TOP NOTCH i mean this game is on the level of stardew valley ( IF NOT BETTER) I LIKE that the dev is not afraid to add stuff he likes and the games doesn't feel like its the harem collecter game where mc is god ! i Enjoyed the change of mc gender and how he started to treat woman wrong (karma got him i hope we can continue the whole game as female optional ofc to teach him lesson XD ) and and my wishlist for this game ( playing as male/female as you choice effect weither you can be male back or stay as female , Relationship system where you can have romance/relationship with the girl you choose (or man as the female MC) and cheating or trying to play on them can have consequences , Side kinks as optional content ( Sharing and the girls can have sex with other men ) and adding a good story .
