Yea but sadly many are like: "Meh, fuck it, good enough" or can´t even tell that something is wrong. I have nothing against using AI to make Art and stuff (although its a bit weird, since Art is a personal thing imo but I digress) but you have to use AI well to NOT make it look weird or too generic.

some people do stunning things with AI image generators and I think it will be an own kind of art soon. I mean it gives the opportunity to create something without having any talent or skills for drawing or photoshop and if you want to do it right you need a lot of time and patience, too.
I tried to make covers for two of my books and spent 12 hours at all to teach the stupid AI what I want and none of the results was what I needed or wanted. In the end I grabbed my Graphic Tablet and PS and did it on my own, which costs me 6 hours at all for both. And I should have done this from the start. But I am drawing since ever, make comics and learned all the skills for paper also photoshop and tablet. It took years and I am average at best if I want to compliment myself. Nothing to compare with some pro works I see around. And thats the point: most people lack the skill and the time but want some cool pics. Their Standarts of course are way lower and they are hyped with everything an AI spitting out, don't even notice that almost every picture looks the same. But it is enough for their purpose. Some others spend a vast amount of time and seeds to teach the AI to do what they imagine. Before that you need to know someone who is good with PS or doing pictures as their work and ask or pay them for a picture. It is far from perfect right now. Thats why i am extra annoyed from the easy way ai games where the "developer" not even grab the mouse to work the fingers at least or some other flaws. It's like having a 200 sites big essay about history, google for a summary of 20 sites and ask ChatGPT to shorten it to 5 lines and explain it to you.

Money obviously. What other reason is there? People want to make money putting in the least amount of effort and cost possible if it's available and AI has allowed that dream to come true for alot of these so called "devs".

they make money with this?! how? it is like picking up newspapers others read and threw away and sell it again for news.
I would gladly pay for the devs of "Eternum" and "Chasing Sunsets" f.e. , not only because I think their effort should be honored
but also to support them to be able to work further on their game. It's hard for me to imagine that people would pay for an AI generated flipbook where the same girl is recycled for every other AI game...

Is there a way to blacklist certain tags so games that include them are auto ignored for you? I can't seem to find an option for that.

The ai tag is literally the only tag I want to use something like that for. Not into stuff like "gay" or "scat"or whatever, but at least those tend to just be avoidable options in a game I might otherwise play. AI "art" is fuckin atrocious and something I wish I could premtively block instead of having to individually ignore each new game shat out with it here every other day.

Thats right,
in my opinion ai can assist you to make great artwork.
But the most impressive images need your artistic skill, some people are using sketches and ai.
I create most of the time with my own trained loras or checkpoints and handpicked pictures from all around the internet.
F95zone is also a great source for that

AI is a powerful tool and in the hands of someone with an actual eye for aesthetics it can be used to produce some really nice results.

However, this dev is clearly not one such person. Those images are atrocious.

AI's place is in helping people like me, who have no art skills of their own and little time or energy to learn them, produce passable art for projects. It doesn't "scrape" other artists styles (unless you ask it to, and even then it has it's own quirks like any human artist). It doesn't have to be samey and distorted.

Unfortunately, so many people seem to just use a single generation and then go "fuck it" and throw it in instead of taking the time to actually toy with the AI and find out how to make something decent. You're never going to get good stuff out of an AI it's the mass production of the artistic world. But mass produced items have their uses. This is just an example of misuse.

Three years ago, this porn game would've been hand-drawn with stick figures, to draw a direct allegory.
