The artist is (I hope) paid and delivers on time. (It seems that all assets has been delivered long time ago.) The AI simply waits for the prompt. Abelius has to write the input himself and has to link the output of both himself. He doesn't seem to be able to do this in a manageable amount of time. He also have to add logic to the movements and the game. It just takes time somehow. Especially when “perfectionism” is involved. You're right: Two-man show because it seems that he is not involved.

I only discovered this late. When taking a shower with Kayla, DO NOT TURN AROUND twice, then turn around the next shower, and then DO NOT TURN AROUND on the fourth time, there should be a kiss event that opens the other events to increase Kayla's relationship points.
