I think I get the point you are trying to make, but there is a difference between "slow corruption" (which i am a fan of) and excruciating grind. Its just not a good or fun gameplay, when you need to alt-tab out of the game and watch youtube, so the rating of the customers in the restaurant sinks so low, that you get a bad review (for the punishment scene). And if you tabbed back into the game too early, the customer is not "mad" enough to reach your goal, and you have wasted like 30 minutes of gameplay time. If one little mistake on a bad mechanic makes me lose my progress and replay the same scenes again and again: its not a fun "journey". Thats just not good game design. LOK Rebirth had slow corruption too and it was better paced. I would rather see some mechanic in play that you can do to actively "fuck up" like LOK Rebirth had.

The same could be applied to the dev and yourself. That is a really hollow statement.
They are not assumptions. They were stated by Abelius and/or the LOK devs in one of Abelius's posts, as I already stated.
It doesn't matter what he's bad at. He has had a substantial amount of time and put out little. Whether you work in a major studio is irrelevant. Major studios put out shitty games all the time. To call this game better than 90% in its current state when it was supposed to have hardcore sexual content almost out of the gate shows where your quality standards lie.
Bad development on one game doesn't excuse it on another. Nearly a year and a half waiting for something promised at the beginning is hardly impatience.
I don't ever remember this ever being stated anywhere. And it certainly doesn't seem like its going in this direction, or ever intended to.
Why don't you just move on? Its obvious you don't like this game, the dev, or the direction its going. That doesn't make the game bad, it doesn't make the Dev bad, and it doesn't make the direction bad. This game isn't for you, and that's okay.
That's why most of us have contention with you guys who "hate" this game. There's nothing objectively wrong with it, but you've made it your mission statement to slander the game and the dev as if it's having some form of negative impact on your life. If you've paid for the game and not gotten anything from it? Ask for a refund. If you HAVEN'T paid a single cent, again, why are you here?

To be fair. I forgot about the game, last time i checked was.. propably.. Almost a year ago?
Back then the developer said that a lot of chunky stuff is right about to happen.
None of this has happened, or very little, to be exact.
I don't really care for that game, just wanted to point that out.

I could ask you the same about your motivations. You seem to adamantly defend the game and dev for no good reason, and dismiss any criticism as completely unfounded. I DO still want this game to become something decent, even if it takes years, but I'm not going to kiss the dev's ass and pretend it's acceptable to ask for money when he's shown such a lack of timely development.

Criticism should be constructive, and nothing you or many of the detractors have provided has been reasonable or actionable criticism, just bruised egos and disappointment that you haven't gotten what you wanted when you wanted it. You are correct in that Abelius promised X amount of content in Y amount of time and failed to deliver it. You seem to believe the solution to that is "Just deliver more content, on time."
That's not how this works. It's totally acceptable to ask for however much money he wants, as long as people are happy with that. You seem to be unhappy with that. Which again, is fine. But you've come to a public forum, angry that your experience isn't the same as everyone else's, arguing that the Dev's failure to deliver on his promises are either out of incompetence or malice, which anyone who actually cares could see is demonstrably false.

I have pointed out multiple times what the issues are. Working on a clothing system, a mall, customer interactions, and a number of other things that have no relation to engine stability or the ability to put out hardcore content. How is it not constructive to call the dev out on this when hardcore content was promised? This has nothing to do with unforeseen circumstances and everything to do with not making it a priority. The sexual content is currently an afterthought at best.
Part of behaving like an adult is standing behind your promises and holding people responsible, especially when money is involved. If Abelius was on any sort of contracted project, he would've lost that contract months ago for failing to meet obligations. Luckily for him, we live in the age of the subscription model developer that can pull in people's money with nothing but empty promises and faith.
That's not a failure. That's a deliberate decision, that YOU don't like. It's not up to you to decide that the clothing system, the mall, and customer interactions are not important and foundational to the game, and what makes the game exciting. For myself and many others, these interactions with the world and how they lead into sexual situations are what make this game interesting and exciting. If I wanted just straight porn, with an already naked blonde woman with 0 context, there's a dozen sites where I can get that for free.

What would the nature of this hardcore content be? Where would this hardcore content take place? Who would this hardcore content be with?
There is a contract. You give Abelius money, you get access to the stuff he makes. He doesn't make the stuff you like? you stop giving him money. It's really not that hard but for some reason you're making it a needlessly complicated process.
Yes, it's a deliberate decision that I don't like because a game that promised hardcore sexual content over a year ago has failed to deliver on that promise. Surprisingly, a game's story and content don't have to be developed linearly. How is it unusual that people on a website for adult porn games expect the games to actually have porn in them? Let me ask you, what is a reasonable time for a game like this to start focusing on sexual content? 3 years? 4? You again talk about just not giving money, as if people shouldn't be criticized on their behavior unless you're personally affected.

This game gives me a strong "Library Story" vibes in terms of progressing. I hope this game will be completed before the game I mentioned.
