Hate to say it but I found this game pretty boring.
I like the art and animations but the game play really isn't good.
Ended up refunding on steam after an hour of play.

It was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details (sounds cliche, but it is what it is).
I felt it would be (and it was) now (thanks to science-fiction) standard human-android relations with emotional spike when an android gains "soul" or rather its simulation. Despite that THIS experience was rather heart-felt and involving (ignoring the fact of abusing only one of many android's functions ).
I was touched by everything: story, arts, music. And it felt bitter when game's ended. You got me, dev, right through my heart) Thank you!

Downloading the new update overwrote all my saves and connected to the internet and I can't find why.

I moved all of the save files included in the download to another folder and it went back to using my old persistent saves. Try that, or just deleting them, it might help.

Would like to share some tips for the beginners:
- at the start pick Yoga 2 to gain more stamina and strength per training AND spend one remaining point on laundry humping (don't forget to use it as much as you can to progress further - you'll understand why).
- upon reaching 50 Motivation pick Yoga 3 and enjoy the ride)

the only event increasing enthusiasm is the one with the washing machine and for the first skill i need 80 points!

The cheapest upgrade is at the bottom of the upgrade tree, at 10 points. (This confused me at first as well,)

Oh the game is done now? I hope the next game will be more of a harem game again where you can even knock up most if not all girls. A younger protagonist would also be nice. The reason why I decided to skip this game was mainly because of the old MC and the fact that the main girl is an android (so no pregnancy possible there). I really liked 'Lovelust: Project Stockholm', tho I found the overall premise to be rather creepy. But a game like that with an open city and a more wholesome vibe would be great in my opinion.

I think the story is the worst part of this game. Like, the basics of it was alright, but the needless melodrama towards the end was super unnecessary and frankly boring.

The art could be better, but it was overall pretty good. I liked the animations and poses. The washing machine thing was fun. However, I think it was a missed opportunity that the devs didn't let you do things like take her out on dates, get her outfits that you could make her wear (mix and match, etc.), and other customization.

I also found it kind of funny that the player character is apparently cool with

Plastic Soul was never supposed to be a long game with dating mechanics and all that. It's just a year long project to see how much I can do on renpy in a year. I can't do mechanics like swappable outfits since that'll mean I need to animate every outfit for every scene, and I rather just have more scenes. Glad you like the animations though! I try to make up for the less complex character designs with animations.
