To resolve this issue, I recommend uninstalling all plugins. Subsequently, when prompted to install the Ren'Py plugin upon game launch, decline the installation. As illustrated in the provided screenshot, simply proceed without installing any plugins. This approach has proven effective in my experience.

I tried without plugins, but in games there was often an error when entering a name, at the start.

Came here on a whim cause joiplay discord hasn't helped. For pokemon pathways I get this splash image title error where my game crashes right after. Anyone have the same issue or know how to solve it?

Sorry if i'm bothering but I have some issues using joiplay. I want to play the pc v0.20.16 version of Summertime saga. I'm using the latest public version of joiplay (1.20.550). I installed the latest renoy plug-ins and all but when i launch the game it's stuck on joiplay loading screen forever. When i click on the game it recommands me to install an another plugin "more compatible", i tested with the 2 different plug-ins but nothing works. Is that a game issue ? How can i play it using joiplay ?
