Hey everyone!

I've put content poll over on patreon about what I should do next. Everyone, even non patrons, are invited to vote - though patrons votes do count for extra.

This is very well written but not in the way I thought it would be. It definitely confirmed for me that this is not one of my kinks as it quickly turned from sexy to disturbing as I got more invested in the story. I'm finding myself picking the options that I think will cause the least chaos for the characters and have the best chance for a good ending. Not done with the current version yet but hopefully there's a good ending for these two somewhere when you finish the game. Don't take this as a negative review or something to fix though, I'm sure this is perfect for people with the kinks in this game. I'm just gonna be playing it as a horror game instead of a porn game. Very interested in seeing how the story ends and learning more about the world of the story.
Hey Mal3! I definitely don't count this as a negative review. This is a fantastic review.

I know the content of this game won't be for everyone, but the fact that you liked the writing and the characters enough to keep reading, even while the kinks aren't to your taste - I consider that a win. Thank you so much!

Okay JigglySquish!!! I've beaten your game and i'm gonna give my thoughts and copy paste some stuff that I said in a discord DM about the game, mostly spoilered because spoilers:

While a game rapidly jumping between lip-bitingly hot, depraved action and heartwarming wholesome relationship stuff always makes my dick kinda confused, you do a great job. My brain is a bit conflicted on whether I'm rooting for adorable cinnamon-roll Riley and her cute Pansexual Girl to be able to undo this mess, or whether i'm actively hoping for the likely bad end that's approaching.

If I were to rate this game based on how sexually enjoyable the game was (IE how horny it got me) it would likely be an 8/10 before Kasha, but every single scene of Kasha's titnosis drove it up by another point, for a total of like 14/10.
And reiterating a discord post, you do hypnosis amazingly and it kinda makes me second-hand proud because I do a similar thing to you where you kinda go against conventional writing rules/law to make the hypno more.... accurate? Like you'll play with perspective and quoting and all that jazz to properly convey things or sometimes just for emphesis, and seeing something that I've been doing be done so perfectly makes me feel like i'm on the right track.
Did I hear something about this game having 3d models eventually? That would be pretty cool, especially for the props, though finishing the text portion is (IMO) a quite higher priority.

Ironically I did actually find myself skimming some of the sex scenes, but I do that in most games. My main fetish is forced humiliation/embarrassment, so like the idea behind most of the sex scenes in this game are really hot, but then I actually care more about the dialogue and setup and reactions than the actual pure sex. That's more of a fetish related thing though, you still do a really good job with it.

You know that feeling when you're playing a lewd game and the game hints at an ending or a character says they want to do something to you and your brain suddenly shifts to "Well the rest of the game is nice, but it now all pales in comparison to that one character/path and it's my new goal to just get that."? Like falling in love with one specific toweroftrample woman, or a spefic girl in Snow Daze?(did you play that BTW? top tier hypno related game and the Tranced Candy's dialogue reminds me of it, thoug hthat's probably just cuz it's dialogue of hypnotized people, so they're gonna be similar.) Anyways That's what's happened with me and Kasha's hypno.

And maaaaan I can just imagine how good girl will only help Kasha to steal you, likely involving a compulsion to help people even if yo udon't want to, or maybe like If there's something that you think someone would enjoy, but they haven't directly asked for it, you get free orgasms by offering to do it,so you're incentivised to go out of your way to help people.

Sorry for the absurdly long rambling post, but I do that a lot when i'm tired and also I just played through an entire path of the game from start to finish with a bit of exploration, and also it's been 13 days and 22 hours since i've cum despite planning to "cum tomorrow" most of those days. I hope you're doing well, and I genuinely don't expect for more than two of these paragraphs to get responses (if any do) and i'm okay with that, so feel free to not respond as asking for a response to this post is pretty unreasonable.
This game is great, I have already recommended it to like 5 friends, and I cannot wait for Kasha to finally make me hers forever chapters 6 and 7 of the ditzy path
Also, i've noticed one bug: If you play through the game normally making the proper choices, you can get to day 5. If you hit 'skip to new content' you can get to day 5, but if you hit 'skip content' and then make all of your choices up to day 5,making the required ones for the day 5 dizzy content, it doesn't let you. Ultimately pointless to fix for the most part, but figured I should mention it

Kasha's use of titnosis is fucking amazing and some of the best hypno i've seen in years, but the thing that I can't stop thinking about from this game is the reeeeeeeeeally adorable relationship between candy and adorable cinnamon roll riley. It's very well done and I eagerly await the (hopefully actually gonna be a thing) Kasha's toy ending, but also the good ending where candy and riley are able to keep their grip on who they are and be together happily, even if they're not able to completely reverse everything

Cute little game.
Thanks!

* long excellent responses *
Thanks so much for this really in depth response! That's so cool!

I'm particularly glad that I managed to make you torn about how the game is going to end AND that you really like Kasha and her various misdeeds. Kasha is a pretty divisive figure, based on the response forms, with roughly an equal number of people liking her as not liking her, but the people who write responses tend to be pretty negative about her and what she makes you do. It's nice to hear from someone who is solidly enjoying her.

Regarding hypno, I'm glad you enjoyed that as well. Part of what I love about transformation and hypno/mind control is the sheer versatility they have as fetishes. There are so many fun ways of doing them, and so many interesting possible outcomes. I respect people with uncomplicated fetishes, but I like mine to require world building. : P

And I'm really glad that you and other people are enjoying the relationship with Riley. I have so much fun writing them together.

Thanks for the note about the choice bug! I'll make sure that is fixed for the technical update I'll be releasing this week.

And thanks in general. Your response made my day. : )

So I haven't gotten to the end of current content yet, only about the end of day 3, but I felt the need to talk about something I've never really felt with any other game of this nature before. I'm not really sure the exact reason for it, though I do have some theories, whether it has to do with the setting, the quality of the writing, or the way its written. I'm more inclined to think its the latter however.

Anyways what I'm trying to get at is that when you (or at least when I) play games or read stuff of this nature I'm usually able to just enjoy it for what it is, but for some reason this game has given me a different feeling, something more akin to when you're invested in a show, movie, novel etc. I find myself feeling quite conflicted, on one hand I do still enjoy it, but on the other I can't help but feel indignant and frustrated while reading it, much the same as I would on behalf of characters in shows and movies when bad things happen to them. I'm sure most of you know the kind of feeling I'm talking about, when something bad happens to a character you like in a story you're invested in.

Now I'm not entirely sure why this is, though I'm leaning towards it being due to the way its written, that is specifically regarding how you are reading it from mostly a first person perspective, but you have very little influence over what happens in the story. This (at least to me) makes it give off a feel much less like an interactive novel than simply a novel. Now I'm not trying to say this was a bad idea, bad decision or necessarily a flaw, just trying to analyze why it makes me feel a certain way.

Now this part is much more speculation because I'm not sure how true this is, but I think most games I've played with hypnosis and other similar stuff you see here tends to refrain from telling you how "you" feel emotionally and sticks more towards telling you what is happening to you and how it feels physically and mentally (minus the emotionally aspect). I'm not sure if this makes sense or not? Anyways sorry for rambling about this here just felt the urge to talk about it for some reason.

TLDR: Game makes me want to protect the characters more than I want to see bad things happen to them ;-;

Also an excelent response
>/////< thank you for the praise >.<
I mean i've had times where I try to write a simple short fetish story and end up writing 3500 words of worldbuilding and setup and lore, so I totally love that kinda stuff! This has become on of my most awaited games, and while I know day 6 is quite a ways off and I hope that you're not feeling stressed or pressured, I'm already psyched for when day 6 is eventually here

Thanks Dusk! The response you're talking about makes me feel really proud of my writing. I'm really glad that you're invested in the characters!

Yeah, the MC in this game isn't particularly dominant. If you're waiting for that kind of scene, you're probably going to be disappointed.

Ahh! I'm glad you're looking forward to Day 6! The update for this month is going to be Day 5 for Ditzy / Tattoo, and I think people are going to really like it.

There is a small technical update containing mostly grammar and spelling fixes, but also a fix for the 'jump forward' option at the start, which was bugged to now allow you to access the Ditzy routes.

Hey everyone!

The new update is live for this month! This means a new very hefty 40k word DOCTOR SHINE SPECIAL chapter accessible from Choice 2!

This new version contains a bunch of spelling error fixes as well as the ability to jump immediately to the SPECIAL from the main menu.

I hope you like it! If you want to get it, the links on the OP are updated!

This game is fun! also sort of existentially terrifying though!
Thanks! Yeah, that's what I'm going for!

So there is no female start i assume?
Sadly no! I would like to do a path through the game from Riley (the room-mate characters) perspective. I would call it, like, "Play Things - B Side" or something, but the cost of doing so is extremely high, so I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to do it.

It's a bit fiddly if you're not setup for it, but once you are, it's not so bad.

You need two pieces of software, an HTTP server and a file extractor that can open the RAR file.

I recommend Simple HTTP Server for the server, and AZIP Master for file extraction. They both have free versions.

The steps are:

  1. Download and install an HTTP Server and an extraction tool.
  2. Download the Play Things RAR file.
  3. Use the extraction tool to extract all files in the RAR file to somewhere on your phone (remember where you put it!). I usually put mine in a subfolder of my Documents folder.
  4. Open the HTTP server program. It will have a space to set the 'root folder' for the server. Set it to the location where the index.html file for play things is stored.
  5. Start the HTTP server.
  6. The HTTP Server program will have it's address visible somewhere. This is often but there are alternatives. Open that location in your web browser.
  7. Play the game!
As you can see, it's a bit fussy, but not too bad.

I have some honest open feedback from a brain injured, heterosexual man who has never fantasized about becoming a woman.
First this is not a type of game I normally find arousing however sometimes the writing just works and a little excitement ensues. Firefly by Piers Anthony is a clear example which I read 33 odd years ago would be a prime example of the train wreck that you can't look away from as you get excited by the words even though they are not actual sex.
Second the user interface needs a way to go back (several html games use an arrow button) even if you limit the going back to after the last choice (such as I chose spice and blah blah oops missed the end of that gotta go back and review what happened after I made the choice but the choice itself is locked)
Third again on the user interface you need to allow clicking more than just the "golden text" because any excitement I might have built up goes away as I'm trying to locate the right spot to click.
Fourth brain injury makes it hard for me to read (I used to finish a 300-1000 page book everyday now I can read very slowly if the writing is good) and pictures of the people taking part in the text and actions happening would really help (everyone not just me). PS your writing is incredibly enticing making me want to keep reading even if I should be sleeping.
I hope you carry on this work and bring it to the completed ending and on into your future games. I suspect I know the eventual outcome when the week ends and I will not ruin it with my guess.

hmm good feedback for the go back ui, can be implemented at the upper ui areas beside save, for the "golden text", it might be a good idea to add a hotkey like enter to just go to the next page without clicking on the text
