An accident! You can find out more details if you play the game and choose the ~second~ option at the first choice.
Loading saves doesn't work for me - I get the same blank page on four different browsers. Both for load and quickload.

Yeah, there is definitely something wrong with the save system right now. I'm not sure what it is yet, but I'll be releasing a tech update tomorrow or the next day with a bunch of bug and spelling fixes, and that is on the list.

Only 2 of the days are true branches (plus the ending I think? I swear there used to be a chart explaining where the branches would happen but I can't find it anymore). The rest just change your appearance and the specifics of how certain scenes play out.

Nope!
This chapter advances the Dreamer / Suckhole route from Day 5 to Day 6.
Each chapter is between 35k and 40k words, and there are four major threads, so that's about 120k words just for chapter six. With two endings each (at about 20k words per ending) we're looking at ANOTHER 120k words.
I write fast, but 240k words in six weeks is a little beyond me.
That said, I can understand being frustrated if you're only interested in one route.
