Sad they're going with 3D, it does open up more possibilities but I haven't seen a single case of it looking better than a 2D equivalent unless it's super stylized and carefully shot. I'm willing to give them a chance, but I don't expect much.
Imagine Pocket Sweeties 2 is just to add other characters that look better in 3d than 2d.

It mainly comes down to copyright issues, in particular with the use of Peach since Nintendo has been going nuts with copyright stuff.

i have an idea, instead use the peach it should replace by krystal from starfox. I now it's nintendo stuff, but they Abandoned the series.

Nintendo doesn't care, they would still go after it. However, if this game didn't have a Patreon and the devs weren't making money from it, that would be a different story, but who knows since Nintendo went after that free Switch emulator project and are waging a war against emulators even if they're free. Maybe Renamon would be fine, but it seems she's not as popular any more from what I've seen.

I think that if a game isn't too popular, Nintendo doesn't really care about it. There have been many Pokémon fan games, but Nintendo usually only targets the most popular ones or free adaptations of official games — like Pokémon Brick Bronze, a Roblox version inspired by the official series. And don't forget the countless NSFW artists who have made thousands of explicit artworks featuring Nintendo characters. In fact, Nintendo characters are among the most frequently used in explicit fan art.

Nope. They said they're only two people working on it, so they can't juggle two projects.
I'll wait to see how it looks in motion, but if it doesn't look bad I'd say just making the second game instead makes way more sense in the long run. But like... if it looks bad, that's a different story.

If you are playing on mobile, you can also just use two fingers to tap. It's very easy to get highscore (my is 147 without autoclick)
My screen allows multi-tap, like uh.. How do I explain? You can put 5 fingers on the screen and it registers as 5 taps at the same time, maybe yours can too!
