I see your viewpoint, but with a dragon team it would be great. At least getting to 35, that way bacon will evolve into Sheldon at 30 and at 35 you can get an Alteria. Having a bunch of first form evolution dragons against a bunch of Pokemon that are in second stage forms gets to be a hassle after awhile depending on the pokemon and the trainer. Most isn't an issue, until they are. So having the option to farm to at least get two of your Pokemon evolved will be helpful. Unfortunately no way to get your others evolved at this point in the game. Some need to be at least 58, 60, just to evolve into stage ones. I could prolly get around that by working towards a flygon, at least I could get a Vibrava. But then I'd have to branch off to ground as well as Dragon and Flying.

I understand how you feel. I’m taking Dragon lessons myself and I want to evolve my Bagon as soon as possible. Fortunately, there are stones that help scale its power, which to some extent compensates for the late evolution and lets such Pokémon keep up.

I remember playing the first version of this game, but supposedly Nintendo destroyed it, I'm not sure. How's the updates going so far? do we have a good ammount of content by now?

Right now, 9 weeks out of the planned 52 have been released. As for the content, there’s plenty of it, so you can safely start playing.
