New announcement from the developer regarding the state of dungeons:
Nice to hear that the dev will rework the control scheme.

Honestly after focusing mainly on Pikachu type advt i soloed everything with MC.
I also figured out what caused the skip units issue so that solved 90% of the problems i had.
So i managed to clear all 3 dungeons combined in under 15 minutes. Also the Sabrina scene was really nice!

Heck i would even say it trained me so well that i can cheese everything no matter what comes next.

Is there any way to cheat in dungeons? I really don't have the patience to keep redoing it all the time, and as I want to follow Sabrina's route, I'm forced to play dungeons to continue her route...

You can't cheat, but manipulating Pikachu is the best way to handle things. The type of your unit's attacks is based on its type, and whether the attacks are ranged depends on which moves. If you pick a good matchup and ranged attacks, it's easier to pick off enemies from afar.

How are the days done still in this. do you only still get the 2 electives per day and 3 time slots after class?

Yes. But there was a small change in one of recent updates: now when you take your first class in given type, you also receive +5 bonus on account of spending years in your home town getting tutored by professor Oak. So it's quite easier to have your type caps at expected levels, and you can start branching out easier.

I think I am just going to keep waiting until someone finds a way to take more than 2 at a time or a mod maker to get a hold of this.

There's console commands posted in this thread you can use to get your stats as high as you want. No waiting needed.

I don't see why you'd really want this. After the first section of the game, your ability to reach the maximum levels from your type proficiency only gets lower, and your progress in those classes in terms of unlocking rewards only gets harder in terms of how powerful the test Pokemon are.

You're supposed to get choosy about where you want to focus and when, and no amount of cranking up the rate at which you gain proficiency will give you the edge in the long run. You can already boost your gains by studying with people at lunch, at the library, and grind exp in the fields with a bonus value. But none of that just lets you trivialize the game, because that would be boring.

Are you kidding me? Another Pokemon porn game?! What a time to be alive. Oh man, I can't wait to jerk off the last vestige of humanity and self respect left in me.

Has this new team been keeping a more consistent update schedule than the old team?
"Consistent" isn't exactly the case, but "communicates a lot" is accurate. Each update takes as long as it takes, and some of them need more work than others. Generally, each update adds one week to the game. However, Freud listens to the community for the game a lot and actively patches the game for days after each major update, especially if the bugs are serious.

We're also in a phase of development where not all of the mechanics and fiddly bits are in, so development may speed up at some point in the future where we aren't introducing new mechanics each week. There's a lot of making decisions and long-term investment in how you want to proceed in this game, so front-loading it with all the ways that you can do that, one thing at a time, is effective.

Also, post from the Dev on Saturday:

And now we come to the question I posit to you. Believe it not, Week 7 is actually very close to completion. I have repeatedly promised that nothing will happen during Week 7, and by sticking to that promise, I was able to get the week done quite soon.

Now, if I were to implement these dungeon changes for this month, Week 7 would take a significantly longer time to release. The alternative is releasing them as a "special update" between Week 7 and 8. It should be said that Dungeons do not play any significant role in Week 7.
So the Discord is currently voting on whether to release Week 7 before the update to Dungeons is complete, or whether to finish the Dungeon changes first and release that all at once.

  • Yay, new update!

It's been announced that dungeons are going to be getting revamped in a future update, either bundled with week 7 or 8 depending on the results of an ongoing poll (probably week 8 at this rate) in the Discord server. Currently they're too difficult for first timers, but too easy for people with experience.
