I have never played Gen 3 before, so this was my first time playing it, so yes the first time I finished Gen 3 was while I was staring at dicks the whole time and I don't regret a single second lmao. Can't wait for Diamond/Pearl if this gigachad of a creator makes one. The moment I see it in development I WILL be donating.

However I did encounter a pretty annoying bug; after going to the battle place (i forget the name, after you beat the elite 4 and you get the national dex), I closed the game and my pokedex got wiped. I still have all the pokemon i caught in the computer (probably something like 90% of the Hoenn pokemon at this point), but the dex was empty still. I could update the dex with which pokemon i've caught/seen by recatching/fighting them again, but honestly that's so time consuming for something i've already done. Especially for the 1% encounters like Volbeat and Skitty. And even the infamously annoying feebas

So I tried a save editor like PKHeX to try to restore my dex, but I wasn't able to get it to work sadly. It's sort of annoying cos I really like scrolling through the pokedex and seein' 'em all.. yaknow

You could re-use your older save by just renaming your savefile into how the newer version of romhack is going to get called so when firing up the newer version would reconize again where you left of. If you don't do this, you indeed would replay again from the start.

give them the item that makes them mega evolve, and when they're in combat, after you select "FIGHT" press backspace, then whatever move.

Yeah, i would like to see the creator expanding the scope in future by migrating to Pokémon essentials/RPG maker to have stuff like more advanced sex interactions and sound effects since GBA can be too limiting, there is a game that is very similar to Anthro Emerald which is called as "lolimon" which is made by "Ulithium_Dragon" in pokémon essentials.

Oh yes, I know Lolimon. I love the way the sex scenes are implemented, but the game itself (alongside the screen tearing it has, but idk if that's just my problem) it's not my cup of tea. But I love Pokémon +18 Parodies that really add something.

Enjoy! Previous save files will work if you rename the save to the ROM file

There is a file called "Pokemon Anthro Emerald Additions" that shows every change from the base game in the mod

I just sent them an email about the link being down. Hopefully this changes things. The worst case scenario is they took the patch down themselves.

I tried signing up for that kemono site so I could do the same, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use the comments section. I can see a comments section at the bottom of each page, but I see no way of actually using it. Am I just dumb?

Sorry, but in serious way - it's a comments from original post itself (there is from fanbox), you can't comm from k, only from original site, new comms appears only if someone update posts on k.

1. open the rom in hex maniac advance
2. click maps
3. click "Edit Wild Data" near the top of the map
4. click "Edit Grass Data"
5.put (2, 2,) and what ever name the Pokémon you want to add into one of the lists with out the (). Exp. 2, 2, Treeko
6. save your work and test.

Worked for me and I hope it works for others as well :]

PS. this should update the Pokémon spawn table in the first route above little root. You will not encounter which ever Pokémon you added outside of that area.

Also if you're using mGBA as your emulator you can just trade them over. Run the game, at the top of the window click file, then new muliplayer window. Get far enough in to catch a zigzagoon or w/e and you can trade between files wih the far right lady at the second floor of any pokemon center. If the windows get desynced they can't connect, but a quick reset fixed it every time for me.

Every single day there are people trying to open rom hacks with it and then they go complain on the HMA Discord it's not working since all what HMA does is trying to read the vanilla offsets. If these get changed (which happends a lot with decomps), it will not work. And thus the cycle continues...

if thats all then yeah easier methods, but this way should also allow enabling all mons to be findable if you edit accordingly. thats useful for those wanting a complete dex.

HMA was overtly complicated but it does allow you to see all the in game sprites for the rom which is pretty cool

I used PKMDS to give myself the starters, it was easier to use but it doesn't list them in the pokedex in game if that bothers anyone, but I do recommend PKMDS if you wanna give yourself the pokemon you can't find in game yet
