It's highly dependent on your specs. Faster PC = less laggish. Even my previous PC which was about 7 years old had smooth movement but at least a 5-10 sec lag upon loading areas.
I have a Scyther holding a metal coat, a Kadabra, and a Machoke that I'm trying to trade to the woman in Clover town so they evolve, but whenever I talk to her even when naked she just says 'it gets lonely living alone but pokemon keep you company' what do i do? For reference I only have 2 gym badges

You need to have sex with Pokemon quite a bit (I think at least five times) before she'll do the "trade" with you.
It's based on an old version of Pokémon Essentials, which uses the RPG Maker XP engine and isn't particularly optimized.
No, it's not just you.
You could try playing with a smaller window size, but using the Windows Magnifier app. (Windows should have it installed by default.)
In addition to what Arty_Wolf said, the Pokémon must be male, and you can only do it once per day.
(And yes, it's 5 times.)

All I know is the game was designed to work on 1 core, any more than that it works slower. Using task manager to limit it to one core doesn't always work. Another way is to create a shortcut that forces it to single core before the game even starts.
1st, you will need to create a shortcut of the game file Game.exe (the .exe might not show, in that case, the file with the pink pokeball as an icon) by going to where you installed it (I can't tell you where, as I don't know where you installed it) right clicking it, then "Create Shortcut" at which point a file called "Game.exe - Shortcut" should appear.
Once the shortcut is created, right click the shortcut you just made, then properties. In the Target field, you will want to replace everything in it with the following:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "Game" /normal /affinity 1 "Game.exe"
At this point, it's now a working shortcut, so you can click OK and be done, but if you wanna change the icon from the command prompt, the next steps are to change it back to the game's own icon:
Once that is done, the Icon won't stay the same after you click OK, so before you do that, copy everything in the "Start in:" field (Make sure it remains unchanged), click the "Change Icon..." button, then paste it in the field next to browse, then click browse, and double click on the game application file, then OK twice.
The same can be done with the debug version, but use the following for the Target field:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "Game" /normal /affinity 1 "Debug.bat"
Note: these steps have been verified to work in Windows 10. I can't be certain the steps will work in any other windows version.
EDIT: turns out debug mode doesn't need a separate version, just press Down +X at the main menu (MC will turn naked to show it's debug mode)

You don't need to start Debug separately, you can just press Down + X on the Title Screen.
Edit: Debug also causes Scripts to re-compile, and is known to cause errors. EX: Typhosion's unique bed scenes crash.
It is recommended you overwrite the Data folder with a clean copy after using Debug.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. The city is under construction, so a lot of it is unfinished. And Team Spirit controls it, so the whole thing could be considered their 'base'. There's no story reason to go there right now, though there are some good things you can pick up.

1. Memory Link is currently a very buggy feature and is not recommended.
2. The wardrobe system works by compositing sprites from several base files.
You can see the complete set in Characters/wardrobe/allie
Emmie is missing at least one (emmie_dive_xp_base), producing the crash. If you want to use this feature, you'll have to create a file with the same name as the missing files.
You can just copy/paste some of Allie's, or blank files, but it will look kind of weird.

The next update is still under development as Hino is the only person working on this whenever she has the time for it. There's no ETA when it will be released.

Illiterate when it comes to files and stuff. How can I (if there is a way) to copy my current save so that I can basically cheat having multiple playthroughs?
The save is named Game.rxdata.
On PC there's a shortcut to the save location. On Mobile, it's in the main game folder. Just copy-paste or rename for different playthroughs.
