to expand on the Wankenstein update, he now offers Splicing in addition to the normal Cloning. After some testing, it turns out to be like normal breeding at a daycare with a male and female of the same egg group, but with the child getting the complete moveset of one of the parents. If you know what Egg Moves are, this basically makes the Egg Moves anything the entire Egg Group can learn.
However, considering the process apparently uses a Ditto as a 3rd component (you won't ever see that, it's part of Wankenstien's initial explanation), I highly doubt Hino is ever going to add Ditto to the possible pokemon list, or of it being compatible with Splicing. Any pokemon with Transform would be kinda crazy.
Unfortunately, this does mean you have to capture female pokemon now. Previously, I always went around nude to cause stronger male pokemon to attack for added XP purposes.
Also, I don't know your stance on debug mode, but I highly recommend using it to hatch eggs. Saves you so much time and wasted energy.
