Her Mimikyu is an utter menace with Pain Split AND Shadow Sneak, most of the Pokémon you can encounter start off knowing nothing but Normal moves, and she gets a Super Potion!
Edit: There are some slightly better Pokémon (Sandile, Chansey, and Sandshrew) on the Route to the north, but still—it's very funny that the first trainer battle is so hard.

It's an engine thing.Enjoyed the Game and I personally enjoyed the difficulty, I expected regular pokemon level when I went into the hex fight and oh boi was I shid on.
Some notes
Walking feels very janky I'm not sure if it can be tuned but it doesn't feel super responsive to quick inputs could just be an engine thing.
Please add a way to run in the future.
Curious which game system your using for move pools/ when pokemon learn moves or if its all custom.
