It needs to be one you pumped with steroids that you get from one of the towns. I bought it because of the soft lock but didn't use it until you get to that point because I didn't want to drug my Pikachu.
I don't remember getting the steroids and they are not on my inventory , luckily i can leave the house because my kadabra still has teleport, do you remember where it is exactly? been running around and can't find it at all
The steroids are in Nudist town. First evolve the Pichu with the tunder stone and then use the steroids. Good luck

Hey, am I the only one who's directionnal are way too sensitive. It ipossible for me to select a middle options or even to enter my name. Does someone have a solution for that please ?
I mean beating an elite 3 and your rival. and beating them kicks you back to the League's Pokémon Center. Nothing happens.

Yes the way to beat him is with a water pokemon with at least level 10 which you can get at the pond. It also helps to get a pokemon to reduce Onix his speed first.

Go into the city and pick up the Old Rod. Then go back HOME and fish for a Magikarp — if you’re lucky, it’ll be level 19.
Just keep throwing balls at it even at full HP, and reload until you catch it. It’s not that hard!
After you succeed, Pichu will reach level 7.
Also, I’ve heard people say you can get 3 Poké Balls somewhere — where exactly are they? I need some help!
And by the way, I can’t use any HMs — it keeps saying I need a badge.

Very good tips. You get the HM's early but you can only use them later in the game (with the exception of Cut) so dont worry about it. You get 2 more Pokeballs on the way to Crack city. But even if you dont grab them you can get more later on. Have fun

I got a softlock where if you don't buy steroids the moment you can get them, and beat the gym in that town, the store stops selling steroids, and sells the repel items instead. I only know of this because I went all the way through to the city where that lady tries to "save" the Pikachu, and it cannot be selected. You probably should have left ways to keep obtaining the steroids, in order to prevent that (unfortunately all too common) lock. Also, one last thing, is the Mystery Gift functional in this game? I saw that we could fill out the survey in one of the stores, and it unlocked Mystery Gift.
Sorry to hear that, that sucks. It probebly has to do with the gym badges which causes the store to change inventory.
