gonna need a cheat for this one or something, its impossible on the last round unless i spend hours
Sorry about the animation issues and thanks for the tips on how to play!Animation speeds were also on hyperdrive for me. I'm not amazing at poker but never lost a "round". It took some time but I eventually beat every round. About an hour in total for the second episode. My tip for anyone having difficulty progressing is this: play aggressive. The bot you're playing doesn't know your hand. You could have shit cards but push the AI, leading them to fold.
Great card game, but the 200 vs 800, after some games where you also need luck to win, seems a bit waist of time.
got to level 4 but i guess im not good enough at poker. its very frustrating trying to finish the game. constant dropping to a lower stage, no save option to start at the highest level you achieved
My plan is to improve the opponent's AI so it adapts dynamically to the player — getting easier if you lose a high percentage of rounds.gonna need a cheat for this one or something, its impossible on the last round unless i spend hours
Thank you for your analysis, Doormanfoc. You're right — I'm throwing in the towel for several reasons, some of them personal and related to my job situation, but I also see serious issues with the project itself.Going be honest, I think the Corsair is give up on this project way too soon. First post was only on Mar 24 2025 and a mere three months later Corsair is giving up? Most of the community probably has yet to learn about you or these episodes, it takes time for initial popularity to spread and to establish a fan base but word of things if enjoyed does spread. The game while having a few bugs was solid work and was entertaining, but each episode was like an hour of gameplay (at most) that is not really going be enough to make an impact on the audience yet. On a positive note at least the two episodes by themselves do not require any further closure. I am really just offering food for thought and advising that you should perhaps set more realistic expectation on early results. Content is always king.
That's too bad but your life comes first. Hopefully one day you'll return to this project, but I wish you good luck in your future!Thank you for your analysis, Doormanfoc. After these months of development and promotion, my conclusion is that the game appeals to very few users: it turns out to be too complicated and tedious for most players, who are looking for fast-paced action, constant rewards, and stimulation. That’s on me, of course. As an old-school player, I enjoy slow and challenging games where I have to earn the reward. Very few people want this kind of NSFW experience — and among those, even fewer enjoy Poker…
I know it takes time and consistency to build a community, but my feeling is that this project is never going to take off. It might seem like, since the content is AI-generated, producing new episodes doesn't require much effort. But maintaining the style, detail quality, and consistency in backgrounds and characters involves tons of testing, adjustments, retouching, and refining (in my case, much more so than writing the script or programming the game).
In short, I can’t keep investing the time and energy each episode demands for just a handful of users — no matter how wonderful and amazing they are for supporting the project. I believe the game had some well-thought-out and well-executed ideas, but it was doomed to fail. I'm sorry to have let you down. I hope you find many other games that let you enjoy the best content out there.
