The NTR/Corruption category is full of reused tropes, however I'm curious how many people are interested in the less common tropes.


We all know about:

but I'm curious about the lesser used ones like traps and futas, I feel like the niche is less explored compared to the other two despite the potential. Both of them can get close to the victim without ringing alarm bells early on. Later once they got their prey, their looks become a convenient camouflage when they're together.


Personally I would like to see more futas in this role, reason being it's already fiction with how unrealistic the victim gonna act, might as well go all the way, also having an extra pair of tits on screen is never a bad thing(unless you're the animator).

I agree, more or less a huge chunk of the genre turned into a spicy buzzword and template for authors and some just blindly follow the same ass template with nothing to add and expect a quick success, in a sense its the "Isekai" of hentai. Overused but somehow still underutilized cause people follow the same old pattern while adding twists to some irrelevant part of the story. I facepalm every time the stories focus on how good the relationship with the cucked MC was, its as boring and inconsequential as exploring the specifics of how an Isekai MC gets transported to the other world. Its a niche fetish oversupplied with cheap mass produced crap.

I think the fact that we "still live in a world where infidelity is not socially accepted" is exactly why it has its followers(there's a reason why its the top tag on dlsite), its fiction, something meant to explore unrealistic scenarios. It's also because of the flame wars that some people are too shy to admit if they like it or not so it might seem even more niche than it is, personally I just see it as a problem of some how people can't tell fantasy from reality.
