yea maid is causing this. there's a trigger so that she dissapears if you go straight to fuckin. it was wrongly set when you talked to her, so everything crash. fixed now.
the character load issue is there coz i forgot to include it into the savegame coz i'm stupid. so it loads the default character.
also fixed. If you want to keep the savegame, do that dirty hack that was mentioned few posts back.
load your game, go to mainmenu, click on new game and edit the character again(do not start a new game), then save the game again. it worked for me that way, it should for everyone.
i'll upload the fix today.

So far I got only CTDs for the maid. The game looks very promising and it's fun for quite some time. When you have like 15 girls it gets pretty grindy though. Can we hire male talents later on? I don't get the web site thing at all. Always do more money by uploading them directly to the web.

I was thinking of adding different types of drugs, but then decided for a generic type. mostly beacuse it's quite a bit of work for something that doesnt impact the game that much. Maybe in the future i'll expand that.

Some chicks have higher probability of having STD. It depends what traits they have. Like crazy chick will probably steal, have all kinds of disease, send you cops and other stupid shit. They shouldn be erased automaticlly tho. You can do that or keep her and hope next time will be better.

I added this, so there's one mechanic to keep you in check. So you're forced to have day offs now and then. Otherwise you'll just shoot porn everyday. I mean, you can do that now, but you know...
It would make more sense to not get stress from lifting or drinking i agree. I'll have to bump the stress elsewhere then. I'll figure something out.
Probably add more random events that add stress and remove it from stuff like liftin.

bdsm is in plans. There's a lot of things that would need to be drawn for that, so somewhere in the future. Same with preggo. About other fetishes i'll see what the people want. This thread is full of cheats (that make playing the game useless) but not a single tip how to earn money with the websites. So far I can't manage to get subscribers even with $200 for advertisements daily. Is this broken somehow?

After some testing, I think I've cracked it.

Initially, sites seemed useless. Advertising does nothing, on sites or on scenes, so sites are completely incapable of generating fans, and without fans, you get no subs. So sites are incapable of generating their own revenue.

So starting off a new save, use ads to get around 15 level 1 girls and churn out scenes, so you can post every day. Don't be afraid of posting too high a wage, as that only seems to affect the initial scene. The game will generate a salary for each girl based on her stats for every scene after that. Don't bother with advertising scenes, it does nothing. Chemistry does seem to have a slight effect, so probably try to hire the type you selected in chargen. If you notice the girls you hiring disappearing from the menu, just go to the city screen and go back. I didn't test if stress does anything, but it's easily managed by browsing the net, so it doesn't really matter.

Once you're posting every day, it's a loooong grind for fans. Your priorites in the shop should be the laptop, so you have more time in the day to go improve your stats, and cameras, lighting equipment, and home improvement, to increase the quality of your scenes. If you want to min/max in a porn game, don't buy any of the charisma increasing items until your charisma is at 30, as they can increase it beyond 30, and although it might be a placebo, it seemed to give a noticeable improvement to pick up line success, which is of questionable value, since ads are easier to get girls from anyways. Now then, you're in for some repetitive as fuck gameplay for a while, because you need a fucking high fan count, and without cheats, you won't have enough money to get the items to really jack up the quality of your scenes for a long time. I did a lot of the testing for site profitability at around 40k fans, and it didn't seems great, compared to just churning out scenes. Also, Sites pay out every 30-ish days, meaning they don't give significant income individually, even with a high sub count

Using multiple sites does make it a little bit less massively skewed, however. The ratio of subs to fans seems to be around .0075 subs per fan. However, each website seems to calculate that individually, and growth rate is affected by trends, which you can only see if you have a personal assistant. So if 1 site gives you 1000, 2 sites will give you 2000, and so on, there is no curve, just a flat increase. Sites don't suffer from using scenes from only one girl, either. So use the highest beauty girl you have, for every site, and upload 1 scene per site every few days. Don't worry too hard about happiness, it takes about 20 days after hitting 0% for the sub count to start dropping, and as long as the sub fee isn't too high, it'll even climb right up until it drops. High sub fees do affect site growth, by the way. Low sub fees do seem to boost growth, but not meaningfully.

Fan count doesn't seem to affect scenes either, only sites.

TL;DR
Once you have a lot of fans, how many is uncertain at the time, use as many sites as you can afford, and use the highest quality scenes you can, even if they're from only 1 girl. Very useful information here. I had more than 100k fans when I tested the websites. Started two websites only though and had serious problems to keep my level of income. Advertising did rise the subscriber count but only by a very small number and not worth the $200/day.
As mbmb said, the game needs quite some balancing and a lot of things are still missing/not fully implemented.
Hopefully the statistic site will show all website related things in more details later as it's very hard to guess if you even make profit with them if it's not a huge amount.

Some feedback:
Would like the websites to slightly represent real websites in regards to monthly subscription fees and content updates. The most prominent sites have updates between 3/day and 3/week (and their payment model can differ quite a lot too, token vs./+ monthly fee with prices between $9 and $30 per month)
How about photo websites, would give the opportunity to buy more stuff (and could be another way to get in the business) Also would give you the possibility to show the girls on set without using animations but nice poses or kinky stuff like but plugs or speculum.
Hope you can improve the image quality of the office and the "set", it doesn't look very good in 1900x1080 (HD)
I like the idea of special models but it would be fine if there were more different faces and outfits for the normal models too. The hairstyles are pretty good looking right now and the variation is quite nice but after some time you realize the girls are to similar.
Regarding the need to rest, there are some good events in right now (boyfriend, pregnancy, sex acts) and I agree going to the bar should give resting points. Having sex every day shouldn't be possible, not for the girls (it's obvious why) but also not for the MC. Men need to regenerate after some time (but I guess that's where other male models will come into play).
When you click on a model in the 'girls' list the name should have a different color, bright dark vs gray is hard to read, also the model name should be on her description page too (maybe right under her picture)
There should be a way to let your assistance do the upload and editing, she's useless right now as the trends don't have a lot of influence and I pay her 800/week for this.

The websites are now somehow balanced around 1 scene per week. If you manage to do this you cannot fail. Unless you set monthly fee way up there. It will change, espacially when you'll be able to shoot more scenes per day.
Photo websites are a nice idea. Maybe. Not soon tho.
Backgrounds are fuckin LQ google images. I know they're disgusting. First bgs that will be drawn, will be the office and the home porn set. You spend most of the time there so it would make sense to do them first. Depends on the patreon, bgs are expensive.
Girls variety will become larger as time goes by.
I coded in some fatigue variable for the girls, but it's not implemented fully. Need to figure out a good way to do this. The more popular the girl will become, less available will be. You're not the only porn company in this world. So all the popularity, fatigue and shit like that will have to be set so she's not unavailable forever. I am planing to make contract girls, so she'll be exclusive to your company.
Editor will take care of editing/uploading. You can hire him but he doesnt do the shit his supposed to. Didnt code that in yet.

That was the mistake I made at first, opened up a teen and a milf site and wondered why there were no subs. After testing some more I found out about the mechanic behind it. With around 280k followers I got around 2.5k subscribers for a boy/girl website. Strangely enough after two or three weeks the subs doubled to over 5k, maybe a bug?

In the future updates there will be a variable, that would make you earn less and less money from uploading to the net, the more popular you become. So the websites will be your only source of income.

The time your websites generate income, the uploading to net has minor effect only anyway, could as well let it in. (Funny fact, the big porn subscription sites like brazzers, legalporno, Evilangel etc. are all in the hand of owners who do their main amount of money with tube sites.)

Shame on me, I discovered the office only after you talked about it, could have afford it way sooner. How are the staff mechanics supposed to work? I pay my cameraman $1200/week and his happiness is 0/100 even if he started with $600/week and 50/100 happiness. Am I supposed to hire and fire them a lot or is the pay that high?

Did you trained the cameraman? Happiness is tied to their level and salary. If level 5 cameraman have $2000 and the dude's still unhappy then something is bugged.

I bought him as level 5 already and had to rise the money from time to time, he's now capped at $2280/week. Even my lighting technician gets $2070/week. Isn't that a bit to much? May be that's reasonable but I had never thought somebody holding a light for a porn scene could get $8000 a month. May be I should quit my job and move to LA.

The gasme is a lot of fun but it can be a little repetitive, as others have mentioned. With this kind of game that's sort of par for the course though.

A few things that would help immensely with the 'grind'...
1) Some indicator/quick glance type thing so we'd know the girls that are more than 14 days from the last upload video. Maybe a number on their name bar or soemthing, anything so we don't have to click through 10-20 individual names to try to find those that need to publish next. Could we sort their names by most recent publish or something similar?

2) Is there an easier way to determine what 'traits', e.g. 'teen', 'MILF', etc, a actres has before hiring? Does intelligence get high enough to show that before hiring? If not, a mechanic will need to be added so it's possible to know that before hiring, since if the specialty sites ever kick in that will be a requirement.

3) Any kind of tips for hiring salary ranges would be greatly appreciated too, so we don't keep doing hiring ad's, and thus blowing money, when out starting salary and the level we're looking for are not really compatibible or realistic.
