With the 0.84 contracts, does anyone put the special characters on contracts? and if so, for what categories, duration and how many scenes per week?
It depends on a LOT of stuff. I am not a qualified as some people here, but i'll try to give some tips.
First, if you play with model retierment, the contract stop the process. So at some point, if you want to keep the pornstar, that's your only option.
The idea for a contract is to sign a model with great potential that did not reach full fame, so that the contract is cheaper, but with a decent depravation, depending on what scene do you want to play. The question of "for what categories" depends mostly on you : what scenes do you want to work with. If you do not know, FFFM is a good middle groud : it's usefull to have a contract because the scene is expensive, it's popular enough to bring good money, and it's not too high on depravation requirement.
The "best" way would be the raise depravation around 55 to 65, without working on fame (so no marketing specialist assign), then sign a really long term contract with everything check to FFFM (but then again, will you play 2 years in game time ?) with 3 scenes per month (more is useless because of scene penalty). Then you put a good marketing specialist on the girl, that gain fame but without the scene cost.
Problem of this method is it's very expensive on signing, and it tooks a long time to be worth it. You get 36 scenes a year (most likely less because of random STD etc), i leave the calculation to you.
I put all the special characters that are pornstar on contract after a few scenes, and i think you should if fame is above 75 and you are making FFFM, MMF or GB.
For the tips : signing a bad male actor with huge potential can be really good. They are cheap, can make 2 scenes a week and always have full depravity. After some month the guy boost every scene he is in, making him worth pretty fast. I think it's almost mandatory for MMF or Gangbang scenes, because the alchemy between the male actors matters. But obviously, it is pretty useless without good actress.

So far what ive been doing has been contracting the girls with Strike a Pose and one with Dancing Queen to 'Non-Porn' contracts for two years, costs $49k and I use them for photos and model contracts. they have made their money back easily.
Ive recently recruited Jenny, she is working in the strip club to get her depravity up. Im guessing its going to cost about $400k to put her on a two year contract for just boy-girl scenes, lol.
Ive avoided doing gangbangs, didnt see them as worth it as they cost around $2k to make and contracts for them are only about 200-300. I have 12 websites of the top trends of my fans, and about 8 of my main girls have personal sites. My top website, Boy-Girl which has potential of over 800 subs, has been stuck at 300 subs for some time now, not sure why, but im making about 100k a month from the websites, and at least 200k from the photos and models. so i can get the money to put Jenny on a contract, just wondering if it was truly worth it.
I put off recruiting the specials, because i knew they were expensive to put on contract, but i thought it would be half that. forgot she started with a rating of over 6 and semi-famous.
Any idea when you might be dropping the next stable build?
contracts are cheaper in v0.9. you can also pay in installments up to 12 months.
i can never get it right lmao. either it's too cheap or too expensive. really hope i hit the mark now.

My suggestion, 12 month contract payed in one shot should be 90% of the model's fee at the next level that she is at. So if she is currently lvl 4, then youd base it off of her lvl 5 fees. Add around 2% per payment periods, so a twelve month contract in two six month instalments would be 92%, three installments would be 94%, ect.
Shorter contracts, do the same thing. A three month contract should not be cheaper then her fees. Ive had work contracts where i made more then the people doing the same job as me, the difference being im on a temp contract, they werent.
For longer contracts, id do the same thing, a 12 month contract would be 80% of her pay two tiers higher, go from there.
I mean, recruiting Jenny and putting her on a 24 month contract costs around $4k per boy/girl scene. too much. Should definetly be more than $2k though.
Giving a model surgery (i.e. making her boobs bigger or smaller) gives a permanent 20 beauty boost.
Beauty Salon gives a happines boost to the models you choose to send to it via the Options tab on the model.
It will have new mechanics like funding philanthropic projects for bonuses (basically you become the Mr.Beast of porn), plus organizing the UI a little better (Empire & Network are separate tabs, for example).
Speaking of the UI, would it be possible to replace the travel options list (that goes on forever) with just a map of the Earth and let the player just click on the country that they want to fly to?

Would it be possible to see more information on each website through the networks screen? such as how many subscribers each video gained, so we can see how a scene did. maybe a like system from subscribers as well.

Idea: Perhaps the lists could be collapsed at the start so you just have to open the region and then click on the country you want to go to.

Rewritten stories, mechanics overhauls... sounds like a new game to me! Heh. Question though mbmb, did you make it easier to get to the photoshoot jobs, ideally from the studio screen/map (the area it takes you after completing a job)? Also, have you thought of, or would it be possible to, automate photoshoot jobs? Since the game knows which models would be good for the jobs already, I wouldn't think it's be hard to have a feature automatically pick viable models for jobs.
