dunno if bug reports for 0.81b are useful here but I have a bunch of scenes stuck in post production. the oldest from 4 months previous. new scenes are being processed fine but with nothing newer to process a bunch are just sitting there, the most recent problematic one from a couple of weeks previous. my guess is that this might be related to me occasionally firing editors.
do you have just the character files (.pechar) or with conversation files (.gd)
char file only will put the girls into rival companies pool
paired with conversation file they'll spawn based on where modder set them to

On GNU/Linux: home/user/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Porn Empire/mods/characters/

I'm not sure what you mean by 'it doesn't spawn evenly'. As long as the .pechar and .gd files are both 1) valid, 2) named the same, and 3) put in the characters folder, then they will spawn at the location you chose. I've found that some locations seem to spawn NPC characters more frequently than others - and are thus easier to test. What spawn location did you set for the character?
Alternately, you can attach the model's .pechar file here and I will test it for you.

You can put the launcher anywhere you want. Just make sure you put the .pechar file where mbmb said:

As for the not spawning, did you start a new game? I noticed that .gd files load fine without starting a new game, but my .pechar only files - the rival only ones - didn't show up the same. I needed to start a new game. I saw them in the new game as soon as I advanced to having rivals.
