Never again? Please tell me that's a joke. The game just has a high learning curve. Once a player gets stuck in and figures it out its an awesome porn related buisness sim. Please don't quit.
If there are fans here let him know how you feel. I'm sure it's a thankless task to create games.
just kiddin, it's actually tomorrow (dev version)

There are also ways of getting unlimited girls and money without cheating on day one (or on any day) if you know how, and are the female mc, I would say how but it would then get stopped.

Love the game and I'm addicted to it, but the UI and gameplay loop could be greately improved. I'll give some constructive criticism:

- It's too grindy. In a manager game like this, the idea is to give a sense of progress over time. Before you realize, 10 years have passed in game time. Not the case here. The day-to-day gameplay makes it feel grindy as fuck. You shoot the same scene with the same model over and over again, 6 times per week. You can actually be rich in less than a month and I don't think I've ever did a playthrough that lasted more than one in game year. It should be something like you shoot on scene every week, but having to go very detailed into it, checking trends, checking what models are available, selecting the staff... you know, making decisions insted of just clicking on the highest rated model and shooting a b-g scene every day.

- You have to click too much for no reason. For example, for modeling contracts. Click on the contract, click on the model, click on assign. Could be solved with a checkbox by the name of the model, instead of opening a menu with one option. Or even better, turn modeling contracts into a passive income like webcams. It's just a chore and not fun anyway. Also, what's up with having to repair and buy new cameras every few weeks? Just give them a maintenance cost!

- There's no progression for anything except for yourself. That ties with the other points. Raising your stats is a grind and a chore, uninteresting af. The other models are frozen in time. They don't get new good or bad traits, their stats don't improve unless you send them to training... the world feels very static.

Anyway, looking forward to the next version! Cheers!

- yes i know. it's quantity over quality. at some point i wanted to make it like you described, but it all sorta spiraled out of control.
with all the automation it would be almost impossible now to balance it correctly.
for the last few months i am experimenting with difficulty modes. on very hard you have to hit the trends, fan demand, find tags which are not occupied by rival companies and in general minimize other penalties.
so you sorta have to think a bit more, but in the end it still comes down to shooting with the best.
i also have "RL mode" in my test version which makes models a lot more sparser(actually hard limit per country), they cant reach max level and so on. i might include it in the future dev version, but it's not for everyone.

-ui can definitely be better. game's a work from a chaos monkey. at one point it felt logical to me, but then after some feedback and playing some more, i close my eyes, take a big inhale and exhale and reflect on wtf was i thinking.
im trying to simplify some things for the v1.0. might as well do the same for equipment.
you may or may not know, but i do tend to listen and quickly change things if they're retarded, if only to save myself from embarrassment.
so if you have list, drop it here.

-models do progress naturally when shooting scenes. same with staff. it's not obvious, since it's +1 or +2.
they dont get new traits thats true. something i had in plans, it's just hard come up with the right conditionals so not everyone will get them. or in other extreme nobody could.
like how long do you have to work in a strip club to get dancing queen? how many scenes to get nympho? are there any prereqs for them? same with trendsetter and other traits.

Are there any plans to open up the rest of the clothing system to modding?

Also I've noticed that the schoolgirl miniskirt is regularly misplaced in sex scenes, I can provide a screenshot if you'd like.

And if you'd like my feedback on the new game experience, playing 'sub-optimally' feels like an extreme grind. Both the carwash and the beauty boutique (required just to make cosmetic changes to your visuals) continue to be money-losers after months and months. The only way to actually get any amount of money in a reasonable time (eg, to buy the boutique) was to start whoring my character out and her doing so was basically subsidizing what in theory should be money-making enterprises.

I mean, which is fine, it's a game about the sex industry, but it's not necessarily intuitive or how you might want to do every run. (plus, doesn't that tank your reputation even if you're doing so before you have a company or any sort of web/published presence?)

i will, but modding only. it's a flimsy system never meant to be modular. i've tried to change it in the past but it fucks up everything. would have to seriously rewrite how it works. too many pieces of cloth are multi part, onepiece, some on unique layers and so on. you cant just freely combine.
so yeah, it will be possible with mods(even then you'll have to trial and error which pieces you can combine) but not in vanilla game.

i made difficulty modes. on easy you dont need to think much. on very easy you can shoot the scenes blind with whoever and cannot fail.
on normal you have to think a bit, but not much. just start on easy and increase as you go on.

theres also custom difficulty so you can fine tune shit you find jarring.

well if you whore yourself you do get a reputation hit, but before company who cares. it will diminish once it comes into play.

Really nice points! It's kinda how I feel every time I play.
- The beginning of the game feels a bit slow, with you having to grind your ass off to improve stats and find girls good enough to shoot decent scenes with (I's way easier when you play as a female and can simply do Solo shoots or Girl-Girl scenes if you don't find any good guy to fuck you. You have way more options when you got tits on your main character XD)
- Then you reach a mid point when you have a few good actors and actresses to work with, built up some basic infrastructure and nice stats. Things feel PERFECT at this point! It's when I have the most fun playing, every time.
- But then you get into the late game, with several scenes shot a day and doing more of a business management role. I really like this part, but this is also when the small things like fixing equipment and clicking so many buttons become a bit of a chore.

Simplification of the UI might do wonders to make the late game more fun, and I'm glad to see the Dev is listening to it!

P.S.: The Futa scroll bar is only present in the DEV versions? Or is there a way of accessing it in the "normal" versions too?

Question regarding staff.

Ive had this issue for a couple real life years, usually just suffer threw it though.

When I hire staff my requirements are that they have potential of at least 85, and that they "want(+2 Daily Happiness). Then when I hire them, i usually set their pay to the lowest tick of 'Happy'. So in my eyes they should each be getting at least 3 daily Happiness, +2 from job desire and +1 from Happy Pay.

But I still have some staff, not all, id guess 1/4 to 1/5 of my staff, mostly those who work in studios, get upset and quit.

Why? What am I missing.

Oh, and with the exception of the twins, i dont recruit girls who have negative happiness traits like glamorous or obnoxious. Not sure if that effects staff or not.

I believe staff increase stats over time, hence why then they want raises.
