This is all just me guessing at how the "guts" of the game work, by doing a "never diagnosed but wouldn't be surprised" comparison to the difference between "baseid" and "refid" in Skyrim modding.If I remember that she was in that state when I exported her, I suppose it is a bug that does not remove the state even when you recruit her randomly.
I figure any "can't shoot a scene" state is applied to the character, but the start and end dates are tied to the in-game calendar of the save file doing the exporting. What's critical here is if one, but not the other, is directly added to the character file. If that's the case, and the game doesn't actively "clean" it during export, a character exported with one would import innately flagged without an end-date reference on the new game's calendar.
But opening your original save and spamming "rest until 8:00AM" until she's out of rehab, then re-exporting her, should fix this if I'm right.
