if you all have any ideas for chicks traits, please help me and write them down coz im running out of them.
The trait system... hmm... I hardly even look at traits after the initial check, because there simply is too less interaction needed. Selecting "+3 random points every scene" ruins(!) the need for looking at traits, so even a full fleshed addict trait can be worked around by this. That may (and must!) be fixed in 0.76, so points do not mass up to a harem of level 30+ girls, where traits are in my opinion of less importance. The traits do miss a color, red for really(!) bad ones, yellow for mild, etc... And a notification for a trait change would be nice (Mail maybe? New PA with Social Engineering?) I did not even know that there are traits rolled after the employment and even "Legendary traits"? Never noticed these...
The following trait idea bases on the assumption, that Potential limits all skill points 1:1 and beauty 1:1.5 (so "+3 rnd pts" is fixed). Caps are applied /before/ any trait.
Formula:
Cap = Potenial * Modifier + Trait
Stats are soft capped by Modifier 1, except Beauty which has Modifier = 1.5 (there are Uber-goddesses!) and the beauty salon gives a 175 medium cap plus Carmen Moya Lvl 10 as hard cap. You may have to play with that so it has a 200 point hard cap. A Legendary trait based upon this could be "Prodigy", all Modifiers + 25%, the Rare "Exceptional" all Modifiers + 10%
-> So Potential limits all skills therefore really bad traits have(!) to have a noticeable impact. "Addict" could and should also lower Potential randomly and would therefore be a ride on the razor's edge to cope with it.
Before mirco-management gets too awful - this is a sexual oriented game after all - you could implement a veteran system: You would gain traits by time / scenes. So maybe you up the possible traits to -3-, 2 for random and -1- for "earned". You start with the "Virgin" trait and you may have some hick-ups in the beginning, like random premature ejaculations or erection troubles and the scene is a disaster, you could implement that even in the animated scene... So you want up your sex skills, because you could "fail", when you have to bone and the chick is just too stunning (Beauty > Player Sex Skill + x) or has the ability to suck a golf ball through a garden hose (Sex Skills > 2 * Player Sex Skill)
The Veteran System helps the Player to ease the stress created by sexual encounters, scenes get more professional (like they are now in 0.75e) and higher Veteran ranks could allow lower ranks to complete a scene without incidents. How to name the tiers of the system may be up to the developers, but here is a slight idea:
Rank 0: Virgin, 100% fail rate, Max Animation Stage I, scene revenue * 4
Rank 1: Newbie, 67% fail rate, Chemistry - 10, Happiness -20, Max Animation Stage I, unlocked at 1 encounter/scene
Rank 2: Freshman, 33% fail rate, Chemistry - 5, Happiness -10, Max Animation Stage II, unlocked at 15 encounters/scenes
Rank 3: Veteran, Max Animation Stage II, unlocked at 30 encounters/scenes
Rank 4: Rider, +5 Chemistry, +5 Happiness, grants +1 Max Animation Stage to partner, MaxAni Stage III, unlocked at 50 encounters/scenes
Rank 5: Stud, -33% fail, +10 Chemistry, +10 Happiness, grants +1 Max Animation Stage to partner, MaxAni Stage III, unlocked at 75 encounters/scenes
Rank 6: Master, -67% fail, +20 Chemistry, +15 Happiness, grants +2 Max Animation Stage to partner, MaxAni Stage III, supports lower Ranks +2 in handling unlocked at 100 encounters/scenes.
Rank 7: God, -100% fail(means 100% successful even with Rank 0 in scenes), +25 Chemistry, +20 Happiness, grants +2 Max Animation Stage to partner, MaxAni Stage III, unlimited ejaculation, high pregnancy chance even on scheduled studio scenes (give that one a toggle on the overview tab!), unlocked at 200 encounters/scenes. Also grants +1% to "Likes" used in the scene, which should be the major point of this rank.
You could now even implement "hidden" content, when Masters+ do a scene, e.g. a special animation, lower costs or some massive boosts in scene evaluation. And when Gods rock the studio, it may turn it in a mass orgy... (I know, animations...)
The Veteran System offers some checks and balances, but I do think it implements the players/actors progression in the business and the "feel" to it, also the downsides, because the rank of each participant matters. You could also pick up the "handling" idea and implement that Rank 0 has 100% fail rate (God ranked partner needed). So maybe you "need" to work a bit in the bar, because failed scenes are scrapped and unscheduled "solo" scenes (female player) do not count at all, so you are still rightfully ranked "Virgin", but get the cash for the scene...
I do understand that this system has a quite challenging amount of coding effort bound to it, also the events to be created, like a quite amusing Bar Encounter ending ("First!" or "Oh...!") or an unpleasant studio scene ("You are quick, darling"), but these still count towards the rank. You should add the Perk for the "Master" rank, so people can choose to skip the bloopers.
