If you ever manage to film yourself having sex, you might start to understand. Sex that feels good looks bloody awful on camera. To get it to look good for an audience, you have to get distracted, take really uncomfortable, if not outright painful positions, and constantly be aware people are judging you by the look on her face, the size and technique you have, how many cuts and edits they think you used... And that's for a low-quality, very low potential earning 'home vid' you could upload to a Cams or Users site.

Next invite 8 people who are there because they are professionals with sound equipment, lighting, set dressing, make-up, a director and a couple of camera men and have them all around you before you start right through to your money shot (if you can manage one, and manage to do it on cue, not early or late). Sadly, I think the only way a male MC can get all the unlocks is via starting a game with cheat mode on.

If you do that, you still get spammed with notices via the in-game phone that you unlock outfits, constantly, long after you've unlocked them all. Day after day, after day, week after week, month after month, forever.

Speaking of bug reports, I've come to realize that the "bonus" sex scenes that you get when you lay the charm on a new recruit don't count as sex at all.

Short version is that I recruited two different models with the virgin trait, banged them in the hotel room after hiring them and before they even did their "primer" photo shoot, then checked later and they both still had the virgin trait.

I'm guessing this is also why only models get pregnant and staff, personal assistants in particular, never do.

Speaking of staff... I've noticed that it is literally impossible to hire a personal assistance from anyplace but the website. No random ever NPCs ever have that as their career choice. And there's also a "manager" position on the list but I've never seen an applicant for that anywhere. Is that just a placeholder or something?

Also, for those complaining about MC low-mood issues: Cheat Engine is the answer. You can not only use it to change values, you can also use it to freeze them. So start a day with 100 mood, work one shift, find the mood value (4 byte), change it back up to 100 and lock it in place.

You can do the same with energy and money as well. You can also freeze your attributes at 100 or even take them past 1000. With a Charisma of 1000, for example, you can low-ball anyone on wages without fail. Of course they take mood hits, but it's there and you'll always succeed with the free-sex check, too.

ok i've read the posts. already implemented some of the suggestion. others are noted down.

there shouldnt be any sudden happiness drops in 0.76d. if you're about to go negative you get a msg in big red letters that you gonna be unavailable.
i'll make happiness drops optional at the start of the game so you can opt out.

maybe some sort of "fuck all mode" wouldnt be a bad idea. just drink, fuck chicks, fight with their boyfriends & drunks and hide from the police when they come looking for you for avoiding child support.
film chicks in public bathrooms with your phone, sell the vids online and again hide from the police when they come looking for ya. fuck shooting porn, being a businessman and all that shit.

with male pornstars i wanted to go sorta realistic route(but not really). if it was like IRL you'd find 2 males in 1 year who can perform all others would be shit. they are still pretty rare. talent search PA is the lifesaver here. if you playing as a female there are guys everywhere.

some of the outfits are unlockable only by cheats coz there are no events/places to unlock them yet. i also dont want to keep them secret for 6 months so i put them in for everyone to enjoy.

Suggestions:

1. Make the MC bedroom a pseudo-studio where all the crew & equipment positions are optional rather than required. The downside to this is that staff would lose happiness from working there twice as fast due to the lack of amenities.
2. Add functional relationships to the game that are built over time. Meaning that actual friends of the MC would be willing to work for less money and recover happiness simply from hanging out with them. Cultivating friendships and relationships with people - including staff & models - could lower their fees, raise happiness, and maybe even slowly change their Likes over time (as well as build Chemistry with models). All this would, of course, require time, energy and cash in itself, however. Just steal the relationship bars thing from The Sims if need be. 0 to 100 for Friendship and 0 to 100 for Romance. So yes, the MC could get a real gf/bf but, of course, this could lead to jealousy. Oh who are we kidding, of course it would! But hey, now you've got a solid foundation, game-mechanics wise, to bring in all the psychodrama later, right?
3. When it comes to clothing let's just ditch the silly Korean MMO nonsense and just put a clothing store in the mall from the get-go. If people want outfits they can bust out their wallets and just buy them. Easy and realistic.
4. While guerrilla porn and dodging the law sounds interesting, the real issue is that lack of a middle-step between hookers/solo shoots (bottom end) and running a full-blown studio (top end). Keep in mind that you could also flush out the whole "Porn or Not?" thing with photoshoots. For example, photoshoots could have themes of their own: Modeling (non-nude), Nude and Explicit (playing with toys, etc). Each could have its own effect on model happiness - the dirtier the more money, but also the higher the model cost, more happiness drain, etc.
5. Expanding on that, and the whole "GTA" feel, you could add a "Heat" meter/mechanic that represents how much the government wants to shut you down. This wouldn't just be cops harassing you - it could represent community and/or church types pressuring to outlaw what you're doing. Bribery, seduction, and sneakiness could all come into play here, of course. Suck up to the right people and keep the heat down for a long & lucrative career - which could mean straight up payola or partying with mayor and bringing the coke with you when you do.
6. With the new relationship system you could switch to more persistent NPC system as well. Meaning the contact list wouldn't just be staff and models, anymore. Create a user-selected cap of anywhere between 100 and 1000 characters that are randomly generated at game start and are hidden in the background until needed. This way you can still keep track of all the people that the MC meets even if they don't come to work for him/her right away, or at all - you can still hang out with them for drinks even if they never work for you at all.
7. More legit job opportunities. Again, not everyone wants to be a bartender. This should be easy - different locations offer different jobs. Some have shorter shifts but pay less, some pay a lot but take more energy/happiness due to stress, some could have long shifts and crap pay but cost minimal effort (low energy/happiness loss).
8. Pay for above should be modified by appropriate MC skills.
9. There is an ancient HTML came called "Liberal Crime Squad" which, while having nothing to do with porn, is a great benchmark for gameplay mechanics for running a large crew of people and slowly building up a competent team over time. I'd suggest trying it out just for the sake of stealing some of their ideas and mechanics.
10. More skill diversity, especially for the MC. For example specific job skills, or perks, like Haggling, Repair, Photography, etc, for things people want to handle themselves. So a job titles and their skills could be separated even for NPCs. For example, a potential new hire might have the job title of "Cameraman" but their actual skills could be Photography 5, Repair 3, Haggling 2. So they shoot pictures at level 5, they slow the rate of equipment decay by 30%, and they want 20% more money (if the MC has a Haggling of 0, that is, otherwise the two skills compete to see who is higher).

1. it does serve as a studio but yeah you cant put staff in it. but if you have money for staff you sure have money for a studio.
2. planned for v0.8.
3. already in my dev version. some will still only be unlockable through achievements & special girls.
4. it was planned for photoshoots to have their own themes/categories, it's just that it's too much work. maybe later down the line. always considered middle ground to be when you have 1 studio and 1 director. this kind of semi pro thing running.
5. there's a lot of possibilities yea. some new story lines wouldnt hurt.

7. honestly i was just thinking of removing regular jobs. you can make enough money with your first scene that you never need to work in a bar. if you have money issues id just make a bank and you can take a loan.

Everything else should merely be a function of price, whether it is commonly available in any clothes store, or whether it is high-end designer gear, or whether it might be only from Fancy Dress retailers.

Please, don't gate it just for the sake of gating it. It is already ludicrous enough that the MC cannot find a Tattoo shop, Jewellery shop, or a Beauty Parlour unless directly told where to find it, even though he already goes to the mall they are in for the casting and jobs agents... It would make a lot more sense for those to simply cost more before a specific girl or contact unlocks a significant discount.

Using 0.76d, but this bug was already in the previous version as far as i can tell:

A few months into the game, after you gather a sizeable roster you suddenly stop making any money. Checking on the studio tab it seems the scheduled scenes arent being shot and you start everyday at 8:00 AM with the notification on the upper left corner with "finished shooting".
tried canceling those scenes but no dice. Stuck everyday with "finished shooting" and no new scenes whatsoever. Bought a new set and scheduled new scenes manualy, only the first scene got made, edited and published, then the bug repeated on the new studio room. Also if you try to do a simple scene outside the studio the next day the girl you chose cant shoot any more scenes it says "Already shot a scene today" and it doesnt reset on the next day making the girl forever unusable

I think i managed to find the cause to this issue. This only happens if i use drugs. Didnt manage to figure out if its the MC or the girls taking them that causes it, but i think its something to do about giving drugs to chars with scenes scheduled that day.
I did a new playthrough not using drugs and the problem never occured, then created a new save file and started giving them and it happened again

Its not STD, it is the Happiness who gets under 0 (every time you have sex his happiness goes down with 40 +- any special feature the girl have.) and that is why he goes on vacation. I think it is because the MC have moral problems whit what he is doing and that is why he gets unhappy, maybe its time to change Happiness for Stress, It would be more credible.

Thanks. You are right. I also have to remember to exclude MC from auto-Production, as his energy and happiness will be affcted.
