I haven't had issues with the popularity penalty yet. When I need to get a new scene and I don't have any models currently available, I head out and recruit a new one. And my MC doesn't seem to be affected by the popularity penalty, although maybe that's something that's for all male characters. Some amazing advice there. Thank you.
One question; how do you get around the popularity penalty with so many shoots in such a short time? Do you just ignore it completely and soak up the losses with the reward money from special scenes? I am having a very hard time making enough money when limited to only 1 shoot a week, but the profits drop off super fast due to the timer if I do more than that.
your paying as a female, we are playing as a male. you will have to tell us, lol.I don't think I understand. I am locked into doing the scenes myself, until I buy a studio, so no matter how many different girls I use, my own character's penalty keeps stacking. Do I just ignore it?
think of it this way, when you watch porn, do you see the guy or just a dick going into the girl? i think most men wouldnt realize if the guy was the same across many videos now a daysWait, that penalty is only for women? Holy cow, I didn't realize I was playing on uber difficulty challenge mode
Thanks for clearing it up for me. I question the design choice, but I appreciate your help in making me understand how things work.
I havent played the female charcter in a few years now but from what i remember:Wait, that penalty is only for women? Holy cow, I didn't realize I was playing on uber difficulty challenge mode

focusing on your skills would be big as well. this will help your rating go up quick, which would help you where its almost irrelevant for males MC. after a scene, go to school and attend 2 classes, sleep. or go to gym and do 2 workouts then sleep. thats your Intellect and Fitness taken care of. your sex skill will go up as you make scenes, so your going to have to grind out charisma like the rest of us. But your stats and your fame will mean more money from your solo sessions.Oh I can absolutely see it from a realism standpoint. As a gameplay element it's pretty crippling though. It's an odd choice to allow the player to create a woman as main character and then penalize them this heavily for doing so. Especially since the game gives no indication that it's intended as a challenge mode.
But it's their choice, I'm okay with that. I'll just have to figure out ways to play around it.
sounds not that much more challenging then just playing female to be honest. Male MCs already pay for GG scenes, youd just be doing the same. Your big challenge will be that your MC wont be able to be in as many scenes as a Male MC, so your going to have to pay more actors. Once your on contract though, your fine. You also have the benefit of being able to create your own personal website that will bring in tons of money after a year, where Males cant. Now I kind of want to try a hardcore challenge mode with a female main character that refuses to do girl/girl scenes... That would either be a really interesting puzzle to solve, or the most infuriating experience ever. Or maybe both.
A studio isnt required for contracts.Interesting to read about the different playstyles. I currently am trying to see how far I can push it with early (4th March) Studios and spamming contracts. Let me just tell you: I like the new contracts.
For the model level, you can scroll to the right on the model list and it will have more information about them, including model level.Does anybody know how Scene Quality is determined? I've seen the term a few times in work orders, but neither in Production nor in the Scene Details of a finished scene does it show up.
Also, does anybody know how model lvl is determined? I'd like to be able to guesstimate a character's model level before inviting them to a casting, so I don't waste as much time when I look for new models of a specific level.
True, but I'd like to know how I can estimate the model level before they even show up on that list, when I'm seeing them for the first time in the world. For the model level, you can scroll to the right on the model list and it will have more information about them, including model level.
If you click on the 'Boys' tab, there are male models working for a friendly company. You can either use them, or put them on contract. How come there are no male models to hire (at least that I've seen)? I wanted to make some specific female models specialize in specific genres and kinks, like MMF and gangbang, but there no male models to hire to make that happen.
