No, I don't really see that. Perhaps at best could be that one of your PA hear some rumours about one freelancer getting a contract with firm x.
Also I wouldn't do that with a 100% certainty and only for bigger, more well know actors instead of all. Usually, who cares if some greenhorn get a contract with a rival?
Maybe it's a bit much, but perhaps your PA could tell you that a company is interested in your model, but only once she reaches a certain level or fame. Or that she alert you only when that model is assigned to one of your properties. I mean, I get notifications about models I've never filmed with and have no interest in filming with, saying their contracts are ending (and they practically never become available), and honestly, I'd prefer to be notified about my own models.
reasonable suggestions
- if a staff member wants to quit, have them come to your office to talk about it, like the actresses do when they're about to retire.
i had that and you dont want it lol. you'll get swamped in these events. thats why i convert them into emails. i could make something like colored their name in the lists so it's obvious who's pissed off
- Also, have the non-contracted models come to your office when another company makes them an offer, so you can try to convince them to stay.
that system is already in place, but it was bugged. chance of triggering was super low coz of dev questionable math skills lmao.

again, it's not an event, but a notification. if your right hand pa is capable (lvl 10 = 99% chance of getting the notification)
you'll see which chick is getting courted. after that trigger, they enter a period where the chances of them being signed increase with each day.
if you have high enough relationship that chance will decrease. so in the end, chance of them being signed is minimal if relationship = 100
in the meantime you can sign her yourself. not much else you can do here.

that would probably fuck up something.
you can mod them in nowOutfits mods doesnot work, i assume?

I dont think this is a solution either. I personally feel that the assistants fail to live up to the name. They dont really assist much in those terms - which they should, as they cost quite a bit of money for what they provide. One of the few i find do act like the name implies are the medical ones that really automatically care about your people. But the rest is very passive and require simply too much micromanagement still by the player.
I seem to not able enable network section open, and so not able to set up cam girls any idea why?

First, hire a web admin and have 5k$ cash on-hand. Then go the company tab and create the network, which should enable the tab. You may need to rest after that to refresh the interface but going in/out of the studio also works to force a refresh. It's recommended to have a PA for online operations as well before you start camshows but I can't recall if it's a strict requirement.
If you're really strapped for cash, you can have a staffer temporarily change to be a web admin for that first step and then switch them back again afterwards. But you're going to suffer frequent outages and reputation hits if you don't have enough IT staff to manage your servers.
It's amazing how close to real life this game is sometimes...
