Is there really a virus???
I'm scared to download now...
Recently, virus reports have started appearing in many games...
And military base? Any new NPCs on the right half of the map (besides car wash). I have popped into the GP and psychiatrist's office a couple of times and nothing. Don't want to waste too much time popping in and out if there's nothing there.
In the Police Station and at the Docks , having a Female MC , the game crashes with the Option Let's do it right here .
It's a false positive I use Bitdefender and it registers it as being clean.
I've found a doctor in the GP a couple of times so there's probably a time frame in which they will be there.
Military base I don't think there is anything right now.

I hope so. I just downloaded the new version, started a new game, entered the bar; game crashed, computer freaked out and currently bricked. I can hear it thinking but nothing will turn on (older laptop not my main device).
I tried a bunch also and never found a client, even when it said I had a 90% chance of finding one ( I think it was at night in the street)

I tried to play the game last time but it was already too buggy in the character creator. For example, when I tried to change the nail polish color for my character, her pubic hair color changed. The different body types also seemed glitchy with some art clipping here and there.
Considering Bitdefender is one of the top 2 AV's around with a 100% detection rate it would be a very safe bet the file is clean.
As for your computer that sounds like the hard drive is bad.

runs many different virus tools and 64 out of 65 do not detect any threat. The last one can be considered as false positive.Edit: Typo
A small suggestion/bug report...
In 0.84, the security guards have been changed so that they have to be assigned per-location. However, it looks like that the total security rating takes into account all possible locations where they can be assigned, even the ones you don't own yet. For example, I've had messages about rowdy teenagers messing around the spa and I had barely started a level 1 or 2 company. Or people breaking into the office even though I had 100% security rating in that location (but 33% overall).
That makes it very hard to start a new company since you have to hire lots of guards to prevent stealing/damage to your reputation even though you haven't had enough time to invest in production to raise the needed monthly revenue to pay for their salaries ...
So I think that at the start, only the Office should count towards the total security rating; Studios should count once built; Mansion maybe once you get to level 2 and can have girls stay over; etc...
Also, it looks like the randomly-generated nurses can't be recruited for non-model jobs. This is the same behavior that strippers/hookers have, where you can't ask what specific job skills they have. This seems like a missed opportunity, since a player might reasonably assume they would make good medical advisors. Seems odd that this job falls under the PA umbrella at the moment.
Unless that's a position intended for the new/upcoming GP character in the hospital ?

Actually it just checks the databases, which can be a problem as Virustotal is usually a month behind the AV database updates. And the checks aren't really thorough. Relying on Virustotal will bite you in the ass sooner or later.
