On the automation panel/page thingy(either on a scenes tab or pick the relevant PA and check her options tab) pick a studio tab and scroll to the bottom to uncheck the days of the week it's scheduling.
Auto-hiring can also be turned off on a relevant PA's options tab.

While actually Playing the game on pc only happened once.

The latest version uploaded here is v0.93 dev. There are also links for v0.92b (which is stable, AFAIK), although they're 32bit.
If you want the v0.92b 64bit version, you'd have to subscribe to the dev's Patreon for a month.

I've searched the thread, but I don't see how to successfully seduce/recruit police officers. I've gotten the two unique characters.

Elizabeth Dillon and Debby Carter
Immunity from Police - Prank Drug Reports (Head Security) lvl 10 / Girls (Dominatrix Actress)
No one will Harras you anymore - Angry Boyfriend (Personal Bodyguard) lvl 8 / Girls (Cop Actress)
They ll visit you at day 40 and 55, Available to find on Park then Streets from Day 55 onwards
1st Encounter Pick any Dialogue (Only at Day 40)
- Next encounter at Day 55
2nd Encounter Pick any Dialogue Then 3rd Dialogue for Scene 2nd Dialogue to be Jailed (loss 2 day) or 1st Dialogue didnt do anything (Only at Day 55)
- Next encounter Available at park
3rd Encounter Pick any Dialogue (will not do anything)
- Follow-up can be done at the same day at park
4th Encounter Pick any girl on park and fuck her on the park, they ll showed up, pick any Dialogue then 2nd Dialogue for Scene
- can be done on same day, Follow-up can be found on Streets
5th Encounter Pick any Dialogue (on the Streets)

This might sound silly, but is it possible to specialize in just one thing, like photography or cam shows? I know the cash flow would be significantly lower, but I'd still be interested in that.

You can off course, but it comes with a few limitations. Has been a bit since I actively played, but there are lewd limits set for those jobs. So once the actor reaches them, they wont get further unless you pull them out for the occasional movie for example.

Yes, you can legit make a pure modeling photography company and do quite well. You'd have to keep it small so that cost won't balloon but you can for sure specialize and do well.

With photography, just do the work orders and make sure to pick the perk at the beginning that gives more work orders and/or use the PA perk that gives more/better work contracts. Once you have 20 max level models they'll make considerable profits. Contract requests can net you anywhere between 20k-60k+ per contract depending on the models required. More models, more $$$

With cam models it's even easier. Just get good models, keep em happy and invest in marketing. It takes a while but once their fame gets high enough cam models make insane money.

I assume there must be a way to change that, since there's a goal for it, but I have no idea what it could be and there's nothing about it in the thread.

I wouldn't bet on it, since there are several other locations that don't allow recruiting yet.
I have looked through the dev reports on Patreon, and while the dev stated some plans, it doesn't look like they're actually in the game yet.
Might just be that the presence of the goal indicates that it is planned for the stable release v0.93, since I don't see a goal for it in v0.92b

as Qahlz said, police station is not active yet, I think. For goal, sometimes 2 cops appear your office in mornings and search for drugs. when that happens you can convince one of them for casting. maybe that triggers that goal.

or sometimes after public sex, randompolice shows up and warns you about "public sex is forbbiden". you can convince her and have sex with. maybe that also triggers the goal.

And you have to actually pull them out, because if you shoot a scene with someone assigned to, let's say, strip club, their depravity will not increase past the limit. And you only have to pull them out for when the shooting concludes, not the full day.
For most models you can and should bypass the whole depravity thing during casting stage.

There's a checkbox in the detail view of each model, although if they do take birth control you need to have a good relationship with them to convince them to stop taking them.
