How do u save the custom dirty talk lines? I mean, i type it in, i click "save" on the top-left and continue the game. But when I bring back the dirty talk menu, the new line is not there anymore, it's again back to the basic ones. And the characters never use the added lines in game so I don't think it's a displaying bugg. The lines actully don't save for some reason.
go to the directory thats shown when you hover over the save button. same place as savegames.
if you dont have /mods directory, create it, coz game probably doesnt create one
it's where dirtytalk.json file is saved. you can open and check if your lines are actually there.
Alright, By God, this game needs a more detailed and in-depth guide on all the mechanics, with some advice on the smartest way to progress through the early months.
3 times I've played it now, 3 attempts, countless hours and every time my situation just nosedives, with no hint as to why, and no way apparent way of making a comeback.
Generally, in a good game, you've got a pretty good idea on what you did wrong, why you lost, and what you need to improve.
But in this one, there are so many questions that I just don't have the answers for, that a better guide could help with.
And most of it comes into play around the time when you can open a company and start hiring employees and do 20 other things, because there is no way of knowing decisions are going to make you rich, and which sabotage your income beyond all hope.
Like, do I send girls to train? Continue using hookers or start scouting the city? Should I use agency models? Go out of my way to fill work orders? Can I pick the same positions and fetishes for each filmed scene? Is lighting and camera equipment worth investing in? Do I need to hire employees, and if so which ones, and at what level? Do i open studios? Which girl stats are important for work? Do I drop junkies and unhappy girls, or put an effort into fixing their problems? How many girls should I have on call? Should I pay for STD checks? Which building upgrades are worth it? Should I put money in the bank, pay for the hotel room? What's the deal with the unique girls, how many are there and how do i get them hired?
There are so many fucking questions. Seriously, somehow every runs ends with all the scenes I film suddenly starting to drastically decrease in revenue, costing more money than they earn, and I've got no idea why. If you gamble wrong on what to prioritize with the lack of information you have, you might as well restart the entire game.
This game is a diamond in the very, VERY rough. There are some great mechanics and gameplay hidden in this mess, something that I could honestly see being a 5-star game somewhere down the line IF this lack of information gets fixed.
But right now, when I'm playing, I'm neither relaxed or motivated. I'm confused. No gameplay action seems to have an understandable cause and effect to the outcome. I've got no sense of direction.
And ultimately, I think this could be solved for a lot of players with an in-depth guide to the mechanics, and some hints as to what to do and roughly when.
Dear dev, you've got one hell of a game here, but it's a hot mess that could REALLY go with some guidance
(Also, I REALLY wish that Fitness didn't decrease over time since, scenes suddenly costing 52 stamina, instead of 50 so that you have to take a break before doing a second scene, really ruins the flow of the game)
i know this. opening a company should probably come with a big warning.
you get taxed, you can hire staff and open studios, you can create your own network, rivals start sniffing around, you can buy shitton of properties, security is needed, medical care is needed, ...
i didnt want to limit the players so i left it so you can open it at rep lvl 1. way too early if you dont know what you're doing.
it's a bit overwhelming i agree. UI also does a marvelous job from hiding certain stuff.
STATS tab on dashboard might help you pinpoint where the biggest expenses are and cut them down.
also on previous page you have 2 posts of different strategies. one is really minmaxy way to play which you dont really have to.
the thing is i spent quite a bit if time trying to create the "right" progression. make everything tiered, unlocked when you reach certain rep level and so on. but then certain strategies werent possible.
so im sorta backpedalling now coz i figured out im making what i fucking hate most devs are doing these days. directing you to play how THEY want. no freedom.
so now you're thrown into the chaos with hopes you find your own way.
so your questions
>Like, do I send girls to train? Continue using hookers or start scouting the city? Should I use agency models?
do what you want. all thigns are viable, although some agency chicks may be expensive.
>Go out of my way to fill work orders?
good source of money early on, especially if the requests are simple.
>Can I pick the same positions and fetishes for each filmed scene?
yea, doesnt matter.
>Is lighting and camera equipment worth investing in?
yes and no. would rather focus on getting better girls.
>Do I need to hire employees, and if so which ones, and at what level?
only one mandatory for studio is director. if you want to skip manual production hire a PA and assign her a production role
security guard and editor also wouldnt hurt
hire level you can afford. obviously dont go lvl 10 at the start.
>Do i open studios?
yea, but not all of them. start with 1 or 2.
but you dont have to and can continue with your amatuer adventures.
or skip porn production and go webcam route. you need more PAs and right policies. also fresh chicks not some rundown whores.
>Which girl stats are important for work?
for porn actreses all of them apart from intellect.
>Do I drop junkies and unhappy girls, or put an effort into fixing their problems?
it's up to you. if you feel like it.
>How many girls should I have on call?
at the start probably as many as you can. just random whores from the streets or strip club.
later on it's up to you.
i know people were breaking this shitty game and had 5 girl multimillion empire
>Should I pay for STD checks?
well try not to and you'll have chicks who are unavailable for months
>Which building upgrades are worth it?
office so you can hire more people. then you'll see what you want.
mansion would open up parties and you can steal stars from rivals
>Should I put money in the bank, pay for the hotel room?
you'll get some passive income if you do. would a lot of money and have to progress with the bank managers.
>What's the deal with the unique girls, how many are there and how do i get them hired?
some small flavor so not every girl in the game is randomly generated.
i think they're pretty easily identifiable. unique conversation and screen positions.
just talk and progress with them. pretty linear stories with some rare cases which you can fail.
