Theories Wanted: I'm trying to put together the exact connection between fans and subscribers.
Fans: As in the fans you accumulate when you first start a business.
Subscribers: People who pay to see your website.
Now I've played in cheat-mode before and discovered that adding a million fans almost instantly turns into a million subscribers overnight, so obviously there is a link where more fans = more subscribers, but in regular (fair) game play I've also boosted subscribers just by adding videos to the website, although more slowly it seems.
My question is this: Which is more efficient? Let's say I have five videos edited and ready to go. Would I get more subscribers by releasing all of them to the general internet (thus racking up more fans) or by putting them all on the website itself? Because it feels to me like fans seems to be the way to go - more fans always gets me more subscribers, even if I haven't updated the actual website in a month or more, yet adding more content to the website seems to only net a small tickle of new people coming in.
Another Question: Has anyone ever actually won a paternity suit in court in this game? I'm starting to suspect that it isn't actually possible. Is it intelligence based or just pure (RNG) bad luck?
Yet Another Question: What does upgrading a website actually do? Is there an invisible cap on subscribers per level, or does it simply affect the rate of growth? Does customer happiness actually mean anything?
Not Sure if Working as Intended: I can find no correlation between the skill level of a webadmin employee and the behavior of the website. Their skill level most definitely has zero effect on your ability to upgrade a website - that is clearly based entirely on the number of webadmins, not their level. This being the case, why bother leveling-up webadmins at all? Wouldn't it make more sense to just hire several different level 1 webadmins just to crank up your website level and save money by not training them?
Possible Bug or ESP?: Sometimes I've noticed that the option to send girls to rehab appears even when they have no addictions and check out clean of STDs. Is it that they secretly have one of these debuffs and a bug is letting me send them off anyway even though it's not showing, or is it just a more random bug in the interface itself?
Need Help with Pills: OK, so with cheatmode on you can unlock everything instantly, but one thing eludes me - and it's not the clothes, I know about that issue already. How the heck do you unlock fertility pills outside of cheat mode? That's what is puzzling me. I've hired all the major NPCs that unlock things and yet they still don't show up in the shopping list anywhere.
