I like corruption genre/trope porn (whether in hentai manga or games) where a female protagonist slowly turns into a slut. What I don't like is that some corruption genre porn use drugs to push this corruption trope. I don't know how to describe it, but it essentially feels like taking the easy way in otherwise a "meaningful" progression.
I think the "hot" part of corruption is to bring out a part of a woman that was always there in the first place, have her give in to temptation (not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal). Using drugs would ruin it all, just like any other form of violence.

To be frank, I find this action kinda stupid, it's sadly because most of the MC's sidekicks are written to be attention seeking idiots that are too afraid to go after a woman for themselves without your help. I hate this as it feels like you're giving up one of the girls as a consolation prize out of pity to a character that quite frankly has not earned that right and is not on her level.

I figured out what else I REALLY don't want to see in games period. Plus it's a good way to bump up the tread.
Holiday specials.
I borderline HATE this shit. It contributes nothing to the story apart of some fuckery. Sometimes even breaking the immersion because dev's go like "for some reason every LI wants to give BJ to MC or maybe anal idk just consume". On top of that it actively damaging the game's schedule because of 1-3 months dev would spent on this nonsense while 0 hours will be spent at actual game progression.
I don't know who started it but this trend spreaded like plague, now most of ren'py games have or will have at least one. And for some reason I never saw any pushback or approval from the audience. Players are mostly like "ah, 3 month wasted for nothing. Cool, see ya next year". I doubt it that seeing girls in santa's outfits are as common kink, otherwise it would become separate genre by this point.
And it can be even worse. I swear I saw several games where dev made cristmas special every year, and other games where devs made specials for cristmas, halloween, st. patric's ay, etc. That's insane.
IMO specials can be made, but ONLY when the main story is finished and players want some more content to spend a bit more time with characters they like. Butif your game is barely started and you're already adding unnecessary bonuses I view it only as dragging time and milking money (if game is somewhat profitable already)

I'm glad somebody finally voiced this problem. It's ridiculous that a game that has 4 updates in a year should waste 1 (or god forbid 2) on a rather boring and uninteresting gimmick.

From the dev I kinda get it. It's a pallet cleanser and can help you get away from the regular story if your stuck or something. Also when it fits the story it can work. (E.g. there is a clear timeline and when the characters enter the December month they celebrate Christmas for instance. Also I really want to do a carnival season. In the city I live now it's a lot of slutting (m/f) around.

Bad Endings in general and bad endings that throw you back to the main menu
Using the same lame-ass DAZ models that you´ve seen in games that were popular 5 years ago.
Create a game with hours of useless garbage and 1% sex and call it slow burn. But as long as it has nice renders 5* reviews are guaranteed.
Sandbox games where you have to wander around in hopes to unlock a scene.

They could work if they are part of the progression. For example, if the game will have stuff happening during December, the Christmas time would be in the background and could be used to add to the story. Now, pure-holiday updates... meh

There's always that ONE kink that contributes nothing to the core gameplay and is just there since some user who didn't read the room on the game's themes kept badgering the game maker to add it in. I think Tailsup4tyranno's Raptoid is a great example of this, with urinals where the player can piss in but it doessn't make a difference at all - it's just... THERE.

these days we got more games than we have time to play,
so i tend to seperate the two
the just right amount of gameplay certainly help sell the thing,
but the dev sometime forget many of us are only here mainly to watch porn,
a little 'skip' button for this type of game would be nice

I think what they are talking about is that in most games on this site have the MC fucking everything in sight and has the gall to say "you can't sleep with anyone else even other girls without my permission but I'm gonna fuck around without you knowing". Or its the ones that have the MC in a relationship but is still fucking around and the other half doesn't know with the game never even caring for the MC to worry about cheating cause in the end there will be a happy ending.
I get it these games are power/self-insert fantasies but the MCs of these games are most of the time horrible people when you think about it. But as been seen in these type of places as soon as a LI even a non-perma one sniffs at another guy/girl even as a flashback you get a certain crowd calling foul and crying bloody murder.
