I'm one for porn games, mainly due to the fact that I find that real porn has just really become generally unsexy over the last few years or so. While that may sound as I've become desensitized to it as a whole, I can assure you that's not the case as I remember a recent thought of "I bet you can switch out the woman in this scene for a large sack of potatoes and a sound chip, and this clip wouldn't play out any differently," as the woman in question was passively being thrown about the set while repeating the same 3 lines.

Honestly, it's so fake nowadays that brain #1 simply can't get into any of it, and the time it takes to find something that both brains can agree on simply isn't worth it. For western produced porn that is, as JAV are a different kettle of fish to sort through due to typical Japanese tomfoolery, and my searches typically end in disbelief and questions regarding sanity (see below.) But at least those girls can act.

So yeah, porn games technically win by default here.

There are no tentacles in RL porn, so it bores me.

Well, I guess you're right. I am aware this could all be just a matter of "tomayto, tomahto", haha. Still, there are non-porn films that feature full penetrative sex, and/or uncensored sexual scenes. Examples: unsimulated sex scenes in 9 Songs, and the lesbian scenes in Blue is the Warmest Colour. So my brain, when playing something story-driven that has slow sexual build-up, kind of forgets it's still technically a "porn" game.

Or, perhaps it's a wishful thinking on my part that the games/VN's with amazing stories and "self-insertability (if that's even a term, lol)", that actually make you feel something emotionally, should garner recognition as being more than just "porn". That these games deserve more respect, because I notice on YouTube that when people comment on the music featured even in something as epic, touching, and thought-provoking as "Leap of Faith", they tend to appear ashamed of having learned about the music via adult games.

Not that porn doesn't deserve respect if it's produced and presented to express positivity, though. There are porn productions that are sex-positive and model-friendly. But that's a whole other topic I think, LOL.
