Got too annoyed by having to get food every evening and dropped the game early on. At least make it an option for the game to take the money automatically from your account instead of requiring 9 clicks to progress from one day to the next.
9 clicks: open store -> select category -> select food -> leave category -> leave store -> open inventory -> select food -> use food -> return to map
