It's version 0.074 of a non-sandbox game, designed (like their game College Daze) to be played multiple times. It is the earliest of early releases.
Not gonna lie it does feel like a sandbox game in structure. Especially in this most recent update. It's designed suspiciously like a sandbox despite it apparently not being one, eh? The only difference really is the stupid ass time limit. I've played college daze and that definitely isn't a sandbox. This however could be one easily by simply calling it one. Seen more than one play identically to this.
When there was only one night I struggled with the decisions but then the next night happened and the previous options were still available. This happened again on the third night.
Honestly I think it should lean into this pseudo-sandbox direction. College Daze makes more sense as a linear narrative since there's a mystery to solve. This is focused on rebuilding a country and making connections or exploring/redefining existing ones.
Keep College Daze's multi-pathed mystery and let Power of Will be more of a choice and consequences type deal. Half of the decisions in Will of Power give significantly more of a "this will have lasting consequences in the long term" vibe where College Daze gives more immediate realizations where action A leads to reaction B. Will of Power can have more domino effects.
