I totally forgot about this game, it's been this long. But it's common characteristics for porn games devs. Milk, milk, milk. Donators are in fault for paying for nothing.
Don't forget the other game of theirs they started on as well before even so much as sniffing this one. I used to be an active member of their discord early on, but honestly... Fuck 'em.

What the fuck, the game gets an update and people just shit on the devs instead of talking about the update? Honestly, I'm not really surprised.
I think the update is good, the new area looks interesting, and I'm glad the barista can be interacted with now. I have a suggestion for the gallery though, which is that I think it would be cool to be able to choose a background for the scenes, and for ones like the barista it would be cool to have the coffee shop background there too instead of just him and Amber and the display in a void. Also for the gallery, it could be cool to have Amber's animations there, it's hard to appreciate them when playing the game normally.

The ladders at the unfinished part of the game are non-functional. It was that or an invisible wall/black screen, I suppose?
Honestly, I'd have to ask for a 'secret version' to dish out like that, but I'm not so sure how Tib and Sephra would feel about it. To my knowledge, Tib pretends they do not see this site, and it's never come up with Sephra. Mostly a "don't ask/don't tell" scenario with me being here. Even if you aren't paying for content, you're still part of the community, in my eyes. That's why I chill out with you here.
To sum it up, there were some changes to the combat system to fiddle around with damage and stamina, a bit of a movement change (Amber feels a bit 'heavier'), a quest system was added and shown off (I was asked to go over the Vic scene to add my own writing flair to it, and I'll be taking over writing for the sex scenes altogether), a sex scene was added with Vic, the coffee shop barista, complete with a written scene and an animation. The scene introducing Bunny Boss and the Janus Anuses was refined a bit, and the intro now links into the start of the game, properly. The bartender gets to be a bit of a dick, but he's the "antagonist" of the new quest, so it is what it is. Tib was playing around with the enemy AI for Goldie. Gwyn (haha, me!) is now also a tutorial for "You can talk to people".
Bunny Boss has a blowjob scene, viewable in the gallery.

Honestly, I expect people to be not very happy with the current progress. I came into the project knowing that it's been in ongoing development for a while. I'm not gonna pretend like people haven't been waiting a long time for more content to be added. I'm not here to jerk people around, or ask for pledges. I just like interacting with the people who have been following the game's progress.
But those are some ideas that I'll definitely pass along - especially with the Amber animations for the gallery.
After the debacle with the planned voice actor, they stopped planning out that side game. Now there's a 3D project in the works? I'm not too sure on the details, but they say it's to mitigate Predation burnout. I just hope it isn't a case where they conflict with one another. I want to be able to show off more progress in Predation.
Shit, SecondLife is still a thing? But, yeah, I can confirm that Sephra isn't really into that, thankfully.

Am i the only one that hasn't been able to play any version of the game since they switched engines? won't even open the game, the window pops up and then just crashes. i feel like there are several godot engine games that do that to me for some reason and i can't figure out why.

Are you using integrated graphics? We've had plenty of trouble with that in the past.
yup secondlife is still truckin... given you can convert linden to usd i expect thats the thing keepin em going.

Shit, is the exchange rate good? I might have to log in to my old account. I had a bank of Linden from when I hosted radio shows in Second Life.
Also, editing to add, Tib apparently went through a rough patch yesterday, but they've promised to compile the public release for today, instead.

And, speaking of, Tib just passed me the test build, so I'm gonna do a run through of it, make sure there are no major game breaking bugs, and then I'm gonna send it back and get some sleep. Hopefully, it'll be put out by the time I wake up again. As always, hope you all enjoy it. This update includes content that I personally directly worked on, so I'm particularly excited. Pay a visit to Vic's coffee shop!

I can completely respect your level of transparency here, a lot of devs see negative comments and will either go completely radio silent or will become more aggressive than those they speak to. Hope everything works out for you mate.
its there, its not good really but the fact you can earn linden for "free" kinda makes up for it.

Believe me, I never wanna be that kind of dev. Before I ever joined the dev team, I was a fan of the project, like many others. Where I'm at now, I have an opportunity to help things come out faster and smoother than they were before. It's the least I can do. Sure, some people on here won't be super happy with me, and that's just something that I'll have to work with. This project has been going on for a long time, and there has been some stagnation. I'm just hoping I can make it better for all sides. Still, I really appreciate what you've said here!
