Can't comment on who enjoys it more, but I can only agree the writing is phenomenal. This game has an incredible ability to just immerse you in a different world.
The biggest flaw I can see with this game, is how its nature as an "Adult Game" means I don't feel comfortable sharing with anyone outside this site that I find it more compelling than some non-Adult RPGs on Steam like Greedfall or the Risen series.
Hey, thank you, that means a lot to me and the other writers of the game. Some people just don't want writing and dialogue and want a gallery more or less and it can be a big bummer to see people complain about it.
Share the game with your family! Kidding of course haha. Yeah, that is a thing we really have a bit of a hill to get over with that word of mouth thing. But at the same time, I like the idea of trying to make one of the first "CERPG" games that takes its world seriously without being tongue in cheek. I actually wanted to space the first lewd scene with LW out of the dungeon for the same of the story but Arbuz (rightly) made me compromise and add it in there where it was. But at the same time I like that we are able to acutally go all out and explore sexuality in terms of the world and narrative too.
The funny thing is, if we were a AAA or even AA studio we'd just be considered a normal RPG. Witcher 2 and 3 have some pretty hardcore scenes that just exclude views on the penetration itself. But if we censored to do that we'd still be 18+ haha. Not to mention adult themes REALLY helped us since the base IP and our "built in audience" (the comic) expected adult themes... so we just, could not, go in without adult scenes.
There's one franchise was built on obviously lewd stuff, sex, porn, etc cool stuff love it etc. A team then tried to make a game based on it and went completely SFW and to this day they barely get any movement in support etc. So we had to respect the built in fanbase for Price for Freedom.
