Definitely! I especially loved how:
- Michael didn't automatically become entitled to nobility just because some dead lord wished it so,
- and he kept his mouth shut while Maria dealt with her unwanted visitors brilliantly

You keep impressing me with your choice of narrative devices. BNE as a disembodied, sarcastic brain parasite inner voice was always great, but his latest presentation shtick was pure perfection

Quick question: Will the D&D stats have story relevant consequences, or are they just flavour?

They're flavor choices that'll affect how you overcome plot obstacles, not whether you do or don't. That way people can play with whatever stat distribution they like without worrying about whether they'll miss x or y content. There have been and will be choices (non-stat related) that'll have plot impacts (I'm sure you can guess what is/isn't important to the plot), but anything stat related is flavor only. I might make stat choices more important in a future game, but that's years out.

The idea that the MC might soon have two such passengers... opens up all sorts of crazy narrative possibilities.

No spoilers, but I try to avoid aggressively porny stuff like that.

Obviously, the only way to transfer the AI is through handholding.

Ahh, there will never be NTR, indeed it would go against the wholesome idea, I could see it happening though:
"...But then Sir Tyrone the black knight appears and taps dat azz and so your childhood friend was conquered and had many little black knights."

But what about corruption, wholesomely Sith relationships

I remember how much I hated in Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven to find laser pistols at the end of my fantasy adventure, but I fins it interesting here.
After thinking about it, I think it's because the techno stuff was revealed or at least hinted at early enough in the story, so instead of coming out of left field, it feels like a piece of the puzzle clicking into place.

That being said, I really wish you stopped with the cliffhangers. You already cast your hook, you don't need a new one for every chapter. Don't be afraid of quickening the pace of the story and showing less of mundane stuff, since you already established the characters. The work you put out is great, but you could stand to be more economical with your resources as a storyteller.
