Your opinion is extremely unpopular and you're wrong on multiple levels:
1. Towergame is not using Gats' art, they have own artist. I'm pretty sure you can't copyright art-style. Seeing how Tower actually won lawsuit it has to be the case.
2. If Gats didn't want his designs to be "stolen" why did he presented them publicly in a first place with detailed description each? Just look at those charts, they are obviously ment to be used by everyone. Imagine me posting cooking recipe online and then trying to sue everyone who uses it.
3. His artistic effort not only parasitizes on Gats ideas, they started making their own princesses long ago.
4. You make it sound like making game is easy part, but drawing few pages of illustration charts is a hard. Yeah, RPGMaker is kinda lame engine for low effort games. But Tower managed to make very detailed and massive game with this shit engine, which is a miracle in its own.
5. Towerfag not just milks money from patreon supporters like almost every porn game maker I know, he actually does stuff, his updates are on point and I never got impression that he got lazy and stopped working.
And ultimate argument would be: if you compare head to head both games: Towerfag's, and Gats' you'll immediately will notice which one is good and which one is bad. Gats should have continued to support Tower instead of suing him 2 times, cause he actually made his designs work. While i was waiting for him to win lawsuit, I got curious and downloaded Towergirls: The Game, and was actually disgusted how bad it was, it looked like 2 schoolboy pals decided to make their first game and failed miserably. And they actually had a nerve to sue Towerfag making message for everyone: "Don't play that derivative game, play our original instead".
P.S. Although I wholesomely respect and support Towerfag's work, I don't think that his decision to make this release paid is justified. Sure, he wants to return some funds he lost during lawsuit, but he once used Gats designs, so he can't claim this game as entirely his anymore. Its like opensource license, once you used open part you can't sell it anymore.

i think i found my problem, the game seems to run on a resolution that my screen cant handle is there a way i can run this game in a window or a smaller resolution?
Googling / downloading any type of window resizer should work I think. I personally use this one, and I don't have any problems with it.

DXWnd was able to let me play the game but there is an excessive amount of blackspace between the game and the edges making the window have to be much larger so the words arent too tiny to read
but at least i can play it now so i wont complain too much, anywho where can i see the difference between classic and randomized princesses?
also for anyone out there running into problems in relation to decision3 or missing font then download RPGVXAce_RTP for some reason its not listed until OP's installation instructions but thats required

They don't have enough funding to work on it full time, their engine doesn't come with a bunch of default assets so they had to make every bit of art themselves, and they made the combat themselves instead of using a plugin (A.E. Sapphire Action System)
Don't act like the developers of that game are lazy or unskilled, they simply don't have the resources (or shortcuts) to build the game faster.

The only thing i would criticize is that instead of focusing on core mecanics and bux fixing they wasted time into adding new content which wasn't really necessary. Also they never changed the map navigation which is still horrible to understand and frustrating.
For the rest i know they are are doing it from zero, but still, focusing on important thing should have been their priority

Head south through mouse princess kingdom (the clock tower in the mountains) and when you are the world map again head southwest until you find a small wooden house. Speak with Babs, be friendly and she will tell you to come again at night. Do so and she will transform into a random princess that gives you a free gallery unlockable. After that you can talk to her again, pick option 3 and then browse through the unlocked animations or interact with the caldron and put 1000, 2000 or 5000 cash into it to unlock another random princess animation.
If you have a gamepad or other controller attached, try disconnecting those. I have an arcade stick that was causing my keyboard directions to not work; unplugging the stick fixed it.
