May be you have some gamepad connected, in that case gamepad controls should work. Disconnect it if you want keyboard controls.
You can tell harvest princess to bail if you talk to her at night (instead of banging
) after talking to PumpKing. I had that option but didn't use it.
As the text says the classic is how the princesses normally look. If you pick random they can have other appearances like different skin color or even other shapes.
