Well I'll look into those but just pulling them from v0.16.18 gets the system working again...

Backup of CE 238 239 from v0.16.18, Use only if Babs is not working (I'll look into why in a bit later)

My first impression was that the game would be complete or at least almost, I'm still not sure but all I can say is that I tried but I kinda give up with this one. Hopefully it turns out better in the end. When you almost cheat the sh$@ out of a game and it's still somewhat troublesome, you know something's wrong with it.

Have the Controller plugged in/turned on before you start the game.

Verify Controller is working in Windows
Windows 7 you can check the controller under Devices and Printers, Game Controller Settings, Properties

If I may I'll recite a question I had earlier. Does anyone have a way to recruit the cat princess? The dog princess always kills me acting like I lost to her in spite of me already dealing with her much earlier in the game. This happens every time I sneak in. It doesn't happen to any other princess either. I even met (or about to meet) the requirements for recruiting her. Any way around this possible glitch? I may have to report this to the devs......

Probably best to report it, it most likely is a bug/oversight. You might want to post up your save so someone can debug it or reset the Dog Princess switches or something too.

Well, It's just as I suspected. The files will be attached here. These are currently all of my saves.

Make sure these Switches are Off on your other saves (I'm not editing them all :p)
1127: DogP yan fight
1128: DogP beaten
1137: DogP won

But the cause was Switch 1128 and 1137 were On. Not sure how that is possible if you beat her... Did this carry over on a New Game+?

Anyway correct Save 16 (Autosave) saved right outside Cat Village

Okay thanks for the help. I don't know how to edit a steam bought game. I haven't figured it out yet. I'll try it out to see if I can get her now.

I forgot to mention that I haven't completed a route at the time.

so babs doesn't work for me, as soon as i got in her hut she knows me and stuff, and i keep throwing the coins in and nothing happens
