When I launch the game using your program I get "error creating OpenAL context" message. I have no idea what this means, but it prevents me from using your program. I have the latest version of both the game v1.02 and your launcher as well as the DLC, all properly installed (at least I'm 90% certain). Is this a problem on my end or something? If not, could you show how the files should look in the game folder? If it helps, I'm not using Joiplay as I'm only using your program for the built in cheats.
P.S.: Not connected to your script, but does anyone know HOW THE HELL to get the Chillbite blessing(AKA permanent immunity to cold)? I looked at the old wiki through the Webarchive and it says I have to sit on an ice throne for a bit and it should transport me somewhere else. However, nothing happens when I do. Also for some reason I have NO AUDIO at all. I don't have my audio turned off and I am using the newest version of the game as stated before, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

OpenAL is for audio, so these problems are probably connected. I can patch the executable to keep running after closing the error message, but you wouldn't have sound. The only advice I can give is to restart your computer or reinstall your audio drivers. It's strange that it managed to connect to a device but failed to create the context, though.

Has the chillbite festival started? If not, then you'll need to let midnight pass first.

I did restart my computer, also I have no audio issues on any other game I have on my pc. This is with a fresh download, so I have no idea what is causing it. The only thing I can think of is if the game itself has a problem with using wireless earbuds, but I'm 80% sure that isn't the case. Just to be sure could you(or anyone really) post a file link that has all of the audio files for the game (v1.02)? I've almost reached my daily limit on Pixeldrain and Mega has been behaving weird for me lately. I'm not sure if something went wrong when I downloaded or extracted the newest version, but from what I checked so far outside of your script not working the only issue I had was no audio. The Chillbite festival has started, actually. In fact, it is supposed to be everyday in game today. Everyday on the game calender is marked as Chillbite( ice crown). This is why I'm not sure why I can't get the blessing, unless something was changed that I don't know about.

You say that you have two separate programs that are having audio issues, so something is going wrong on your end. I found

Just because it's shown on the calendar doesn't mean it's actually started yet. If the area with the throne has monsters, you need to wait a day. If it has NPCs, then you just sit on the throne for ~13 seconds and you should be transported.

I can't believe that this audio fix (playing a youtube video and launching the game) actually worked! Also, thanks for the tip for the Chillbite blessing. Now I just have to check if the audio fix also allows your cheat plugin to work, but that is an issue for tomorrow's me.

Tried playing without cheats/guide. Probably the worst experience I've had in a while with HRPGs. Suprise that it's in ver.1

About 40% of this game is extremely hard to figure out without the help of an guide. And the dev absolutely did that on purpose. They like crypted stuff, they want you to take the minimal amount of information and use that to figure out how to do things which is fine, other games have done that. The main difference, those other devs usually have NPCs guide you through dialog, a hint system or offer a walkthrough on their main sites.

Guides for this game are highly outdated or sadly disappeared into the ether.

Just downloaded it today and was wondering do i just put the "DLC-AddChar3.rvdata2" to the dlc#3 folder and its gonna work automatically? (also for#1 and 2 aswell). Much appreciated for the reply

Can't decide if this game is trash or one of the best RPGM slops I've had the pleasure of playing. There's some good ideas in there, but the grind on a fresh character/save/run is unreal.
