Nah, you mixed something up. Last time they got pledges before the account went into custody was in september 2018.

The current lawsuit isn't in effect for a year now. Unless you want to tell me it took the hostile party from january 2018 to october 2018 to get the Princess & Conquest patreon account under review.^^ This is the second lawsuit so maybe the confusion comes from that. v0.15 was about to get released when the papers of time wasting from the hostile lawyer appeared and to avoid problems the update wasn't released.
first it couldnt find the gothic font, now it cant find a "sound effect/ decision" can anyone help out?
so i know this has been asked a lot, but anyone in contact with our friend the creator have any news? close to resolution? i know there was a breakthrough a couple months back but i've heard nothing else about it,thanks in advance!
You can either try redownloading it and seeing if that fixes it, or you take an existing sound effect or bgm, make a copy in the folder, then rename it to whatever's missing. As for any missing decisions I couldn't tell you. If it's a single event then you might just have to avoid that event until it gets fixed.
On the new portraits of princesses costumes do not work? I put on a princess kobold 4 costumes but nothing has changed

Towerfag can't release a new version of the game untill the lawsuit comes to an end, on the other hand, they seem to keep developing the game at a steady pace despite the DMCA

Actually looking at their site it's probably much further along than that, like at 0.18 or maybe 0.19. They've been keeping a stead pace of working at it constantly throughout the lawsuit, which is good and shows their dedication to the project, which I really like. Rather than simply giving up with the lawsuit and folding under the pressure they've kept at it and have continued to steadily improve and work on their game. Only downside is we don't get to view their work, but hopefully they'll finish the litigation soon.
Things like this take time, a lot longer than movies and TV show. It's not as simple as setting a court date a few weeks from now and then hashing everything out. If it goes to court, they'll set the court date months later, so that everyone can clear their schedules and be there on time, then the case will STILL take a lot of time, sometimes months, to go through everything. Basic litigation, which I think is what's going on, usually takes less time, but still might take a fair amount of time to get through everything and come to a reasonable arrangement. It's honestly not that surprising that it's taking this long, all we can do is just hope this comes to an end soon.
