Yes, I'm managing a script pack with QoL changes and bug fixes, which I very much recommend for Joiplay. My path cache performs a lot better than Joiplay's built in one, and it'll let you use my update archives so that you don't have to re-install over a gigabyte to your phone every update.
Installation instructions:
- Install the game as normal. If Joiplay offers to extract the game files, I recommend choosing no. It's not faster, and the extraction can take a long time.
- Download P&C_Patches.joiplay.25-06-07.zip from my Mega or Pixeldrain and extract its contents into the game directory. You'll have files named preload.rb, preloader_Global_Variables.example.rb, preloader_mkxp_updater.rb, and dynamic_scripts.zip in the same directory as Game.exe.
- If you wish, you may rename preloader_Global_Variables.example.rb to preloader_Global_Variables.rb and open it in a text editor to enable some optional features, like compressing save files or enabling beta features in the stable version. Editing it mostly involves removing a # symbol at the start of the line that has the setting you want.
- In Joiplay, long press the game to open a menu, choose settings, and turn OFF the path cache and prebuilt path cache.
- Run the game. A folder named Updates will appear in the game folder. In the future, you may place my update archives in this folder to update the game instead of reinstalling it.
Edit: Based on your post history, your last install was probably either v0.21.06R or v0.22.00, so placing this archive in the Updates folder will get you up to date:
