shorty special is not working! When I use it, it shows "no effect". Does anyone know what to do?

Towerfag has seen the bug report and will most likely fix it soon. For now you should probably wait through the whole text instead of skipping it after drinking SS. Stay tune Anons!

Beta gets early access to content before it gets put into a normal build, supposedly for bug testing purposes.

I believe you can do so pretty much the same way you can with most other princesses, which is by getting her affection up to 2 and then either getting her pregnant while still on her throne or by rescuing her from a siege. Though for Mermaid princess this would only be do able in Beta builds as you can't access mermaid reign in stable builds yet.
so when trying to start the game i just get a black screen for about 10 seconds and then it crashes. is there a way to fix this (i have already installed VX Ace RTP)
Just wanted to say that the male golem princess animation is a well appreciated animation.
It would be nice to see the creator make an updated version of the game in the future on a different engine for smoother gameplay in the future.

So the guild gave me a quest about a lost paladin and his daughter. I searched his house and found a letter. Now it wants me to go to a "Hugetreasure Dungeon"... Does anyone know where that is? The only place I know where lots of treasure is, is Dragon Princess I's cave. Do they mean that?

I have another issue now... So I've beaten the Sphinx Princess' pyramid for the first time but there was one trial where I had to "confess my sins" so I went ahead and picked the option "confess hate" as it seemed like the kind of stuff they wanna hear and I've lost one heart with a few princesses as I noticed after getting out of the pyramid.
Should I have picked "confess love" or was there something else to it? I also had the option to use an item so I dunno...
EDIT: Nevermind actually... I checked again and I didn't lose hearts for the princesses. But it still said "Love down" when I picked said option so... what happened actually? What does that mean?

For the choice either works. However you're confessing to a party member and they will be affected accordingly.
There is a funny bit were you can confess to yourself which the Knight will either get angry or have a heartfelt moment.
Otherwise for the member chosen

Yea I redid the whole thing and this time picked to confess my love... both times I did it on myself actually ha ha. So that's why nothing changed.

Anyone else having a problem with area transitions not loading anything? I have to use Sprite Reloader or save/load to be able to return to the overworld. Didn't used to happen nearly as frequently as it does now. It seems to be whenever I finish camping, or whenever I exit a reign. Any workarounds that don't require going into the menu every time the screen goes black?

I'm in NG+++++++++++ (NG+11) according to the new save menu and I've noticed that the enemies hit considerably harder than in the first playthrough.
I was wondering if there was any way to make the enemies go back to the strength they had in the beginning.
I could just start a new playthrough, but I kinda want to keep my achievements...

This likely won't take effect until you reinitialize things. Includes a question if you want to invoke Game Rewind, keep in mind I didn't put any checks in to see if you used Mimic Box so eh do that if you value your stuff.

It seems like it's pretty much any area transition that lets you out at the world map. Camped? Cool, black screen. Just got out of the Skeleton Princess's reign? Black screen. Leaving the brand new bloom event tower? Black screen. Crossing the border (Wings or otherwise)? Black screen, Skyrim.
As of the moment, whenever this happens I have to use the sprite reloader, and there's a couple of other various items that will also make the map (and music) load properly- such as the Death Not, and basically any other useable item with an option menu.
I'm not 100% what's causing this issue, but I've been having it for several versions- the earliest I remember being around about the Combat Update (I hadn't been playing for a while, was very sad to see the knight shield get nerfed into the ground.)
However, I hadn't ever brought it up on the forums due to how unobtrusive it was- at the time, it was only when camping.
Now though, it does get tiring to end up manually fixing it every 6 minutes or so, because there's lots of stuff to do in this game, all of which involves, you guessed it, going through the world map in some fashion or another.
Any possibility it has something to do with the eventing of area transitions? Or is this mostly just a PC/etc spec user end problem?
For reference, I'm using a prebuilt Dell PC (inspiron 3847)- Windows 7.
